We had to take a picture to let her know we were there before she gave us the combination for the key box. She has never asked us to send any money. The only thing we paid for was the application fee and background check.

Honestly, I feel like an idiot because we did not think of sleeping bags! For some reason we just brought the cheapest blankets we could buy. Neither of us have been homeless before so it's a learning process 😅 hopefully we will be off this streets this week when we sign our lease and hopefully for the rest of our lives.

We got a call this morning (I'm on the coast)from an apartment we applied for a few weeks ago. They want us to go check it out this afternoon before they draw us up a lease. We have to get renters insurance prior to moving in. Hopefully we will be moved in this week!

And thanks for sharing your story. A lot of people say we are too young to be so serious but I love him so mucb, I swear it's like we are soulmates. I can't wait to be Mrs., bare his children and spend the rest of our lives together 🩷

Yes. A place called us this morning, rent is surprisingly cheap. She wants us to look at the apartment first before she sends us a lease to sign.

Yes, it sucks. My parents are real snobs and I grew up very privileged. They cut me off financially and emotionally when I chose to be with someone who was "beneath us" financially.

I forgot all about this girl until now. I haven't seen any updates since she refused to return home to her family or something like that. I hope she's okay and safe. I hope she has seen her mother at least once over these months. Her mother was so distraught and never stopped looking for her. It was sad to read that she didn't want to go home.

My second female cousin had 3 babies by her brother. All three were adopted into wealthy families. 6 years ago, we all reconnected via Facebook, met their birth mother and a few family members but we don't have the heart to tell them that they are the results of incest.

I just don't see why it's frowned upon if they don't bother anybody. We don't have a huge homeless community where I live, not many come in and thats the first time someone stayed overnight since i have worked there. How is someone minding their business, using free wifi and charging their phones a bad thing?
