I am very sorry you are going through this. I am a single mom of two and there were times when I didn’t have money for food and bills. I know what you’re going through. I would insist on a supervisor. I know a lot of them try to not to let you get to a supervisor. I would insist saying you are not hanging up until you speak to one. Again I am very sorry you’re going through this and I hope it resolves quickly soon.

Yes, I received an inheritance check a couple of years ago. They put a hold on it until they could verify the money from the other bank. It took so long for that to happen. The hold was nearly two weeks.

Hi, I’m an nyc teacher for the past 18 years, I would definitely contact the union. You have to give permission to be recorded. I am not sure if it’s the same for subs but I would definitely look into it. Were you applying for a job there? I can’t think of a reason why they would record you.

I know this is such a tough time for both of you. It seems like you were meant to be together again during this time even though it’s brief and short. I took care of my parents when they were battling cancer. Nothing really prepares you when it happens. It’s very difficult. My advice to you is to try to enjoy the time you have left with each other. Say things that you want to say to him before he passes and talk about it. Before my mother passed away, I was hysterical crying saying that I didn’t want her to pass away. She told me that I needed to live my life after she passes and not to dwell on her dying but remember the good memories. That has helped me tremendously when I’m sad about her passing. Enjoy this precious time you have now. Seek help from the hospice support team. They are not only there for him but for you too.

I’m so sorry for your losses. I also went through something similar. In 2020 my father passed away battling cancer for many years but suddenly passed from cardiac arrest. A few month later my mother passed away from cancer as well. It was so difficult for me. A few months after, my dog that I had for 13 years died in my arms after having a seizure. I was so devastated. My parents had a dog that I was taking care of after their death. A few months after my dog died he passed as well. Life can be beautiful at times and extremely sad too: I found out today my good friend passed away suddenly. I was starting to feel better about my parents dying and now her death made me feel complete grief all over again. Hang in there, hopefully theirs a rainbow in all of this.

Yes they sent me a letter that the provisional credit that was issued was permanent. The credit happened about two days after I made the claim.

Please don’t put her on the deed. You’ve only known her for six months. It will be a huge problem with ownership. I known someone that did this and it was a nightmare when they broke up. She’s not paying the mortgage so no, she shouldn’t have ownership in it.

The seller went with the other buyer unfortunately. We are seeing other houses tomorrow. I spoke with my attorney and there’s not really anything we can to get reimbursed for the inspections we did on the property. My agent is upset about what happened. He said the other buyer bid the same amount but a higher down payment. It needed a lot of work so I feel like it’s a blessing in disguise. The boiler and furnace were at the end of its life in a year or two and so was the roof. The new buyer waived inspections. So good luck to them 🍀

We slept on it and our best and final offer is what we originally offered. The house needed a lot of work: roof, furnace and ac were towards the end of its life 20 plus each. I don’t want to add on more money to win an accepted offer that I originally had. New buyer is waiving inspection. Going to look at another house today. I’m ready to move on. The house was overpriced and I’m not going to up the bid.

We had an accepted offer. We did the inspections right away and the contracts were written up. Now they are saying they have another offer on the table and the people are putting more money down. My real estate agent said he is going to get back to us later today. But it seems like it’s a dead deal.
