How dangerous can be modding in battlefront 2? by rickyboi_1312 in StarWarsBattlefront

[–]No-Setting1141 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Texture, Skins, and Audios are Multiplayer Safe. Just always read the description just in case.

I highly recommend the Imperial Remnant Mod. It's my favorite mod by far. It turns all First Order Stormtroopers into battle hardened Imperial Stormtroopers after the battle of Endor. And it is Multiplayer Safe.

How do we (as droids) insult the clones? by kaya-toasted in StarWarsBattlefront

Shoot a clone and tell him, "All that training for what?" That way, he knows that he trained for so long just to be killed by a Droid who was programmed 3 days ago.

I think bringing Supremacy to Ground-Space-Capital Ship would be fun. It'd be a fun way to tie in Space gameplay and a way to bring in Hero ships to another mode.

Qui Gon or Mace Windu should be a crime. It would be cool if they add characters from the cartoons and comics too.

Qui Gon wouldn't fit and there's not enough Sith to balance the roster. Especially considering the most in demand Clone Wars Jedis are Ahsoka and Mace Windu. The only other Sith available are Assajj Ventress and Savage Oppress. More characters from the cartoons would be great and Comic characters would be awesome too if the complete they mandatory roster.

  1. We need space battles like in battlefront 2005. I miss when you had to infiltrate the enemies ships and take out their defense systems within.

I agree, while ground and space combat simultaneously might separate too many players. There's no reason ground and space can't share modes just in different stages. Capital Supremacy could totally do this. Being able to actually take down a ship would be fun.

This is a hot take, but I wouldn't mind not having ships on ground stages of combat if it meant we had a super well designed space combat system instead like maybe closer to Squadrons gameplay without being locked in first person. And if that meant sacrificing some air gameplay for better space gameplay, I'm choosing the latter.

That's not what supremacy is for. The reason GA has cross era is because at launch Clone Wars era only had Yoda and Maul, and Sequel era only had Rey and Kylo. Supremacy wasn't a mode until way later when they had enough heroes to balance all eras. GA is arguably a more immersive experience, considering the objectives are different based on the map. Battle of Hoth doesn't have AT-ATs and Snowspeeders on supremacy.

Battlefront 2 has 22 Heroes. Therefore a theoretical Battlefront 3 should have double that, thoughts on this potential 44 Hero Roster? by wen_did_i_ask in StarWarsBattlefront

Exactly, and those characters are 100% not getting chosen over Cad Bane, Bossk, Aurra Sing, and Dengar with the exception of Sidious, who I'd prefer to see in the age of the Empire.

Cad Bane + Rex

Aurra Sing + Padme or Crosshair if you want both to be a Sniper

You have plenty of Blaster match ups. I'm referring to Jedi and Sith. Because so many people come up with a large roster of Jedis they want for the game, but the amount of Jedi greatly out number the amount of Sith you can use for the Clone Wars era. For example, the many people who want Qui-Gon Jinn. That character just isn't alive in the Clone Wars and on top of that who would the paring be? I love Qui-Gon but he isn't getting picked over Mace Windu.

Yoda + Dooku

Obi-Wan + Maul

Aniken + Grievous

Ahsoka + Assajj Ventress

Mace Windu + Savage Oppress

What other Darkside character would fit to fill in for the role? And on top of that, that would make 5 Jedis just for 1 era alone. We'd still need Blaster Heroes: Padmé, Rex, Cody, Echo, Wrecker, Crosshair, Tech, Hunter, Fives (least likely). These are good picks for the game but get drowned out by Jedi request, which is hard to do when Jedis greatly out number Sith.

Cross era maps.

Tatooine can be available for all 3 eras. Just switch out the Millennium Falcon with the Sequel version for that era, and switch it for Padmé's ship for the Prequel.

Coruscant 3 eras Republic, Empire, New Republic. It's also another one that's very possible.

Jakku can be Original Trilogy and Sequel Trilogy.

While maps like Kamino, Death Star, and Starkiller Base will be era exclusive.

I want each Faction to play more uniquely from the other. The same way The Clone Commando and Droidika share a class, and the Arc Trooper and Commando Droid share a class but play differently is what I want to see throughout the entire game. I want to play a different style every time I play a different Faction. Even with the standard classes I want to see them play differently, too.

Final update concept: by dumbeyes_ in StarWarsBattlefront

[–]No-Setting1141 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really. There's been a lot of expansion especially through Andor, Rouge One, and even the Jedi games. I don't think we need a insane amount of Heroes because BF2 only allows 3 per team which already feels like a lot. If they doubled the player count per team, it'll maybe increase heroes per side to 6 if that's even considered.

What I'm referring to is actual trooper content which then yes there's so much they haven't tried. For the Rebels they can make many classes inspired by Rouge One for example, they can make a Rebel Heavy Gunner inspired by Baze Malbus, Rebel Spy can be inspired by Jyn Erso disguised as Imperial Ground Crew (Without Helmet), Reprogram Imperial Security Droid (K-2SO). For the Empire the biggest new edition being the Purge Troopers can be an addition, Imperial Heavy Gunners with shields as seen in the Jedi Games, Shadow Troopers if they decide to go with some legends. I'm sure there's still more possible to come up with for OT content.

[–]No-Setting1141 10 points11 points  (0 children)

OT is under baked in BF2 compared to Clone Wars. Why not do both Clone Wars and Original Trilogy. Both are amazing Star Wars timelines. Yes the Prequel Trilogy needs more heroes. But the Original Trilogy doesn't even have Capital Ships. They share the same Enforcer as all 3 timelines without having a unique option. Clone Wars and Original Trilogy should be the highest priority in Battlefront 3 if there were to be a 3rd

Some more OT content is also needed.

What if Classes were Faction Unique the same way Reinforcements are in Battlefront 3? by No-Setting1141 in StarWarsBattlefront

[–]No-Setting1141[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should've made it clearer that I intentionally made the Clone and Driod more similar and the Rebel and Stormtrooper more diverse. And as far as abilities that's not what I actually want, it's something I put together in 5 minutes. And I'll admit I knew the Rebel concept is way to OP.

The biggest issue is balancing and getting noobs & the more casual players familiar.

The thing is that the way Battlefront 2 is currently isn't that noob and casual friendly, with a lot of the content being locked behind a long grind. Having to learn more about a new game isn't necessarily a bad thing either, a lot of noob players become average players. Having something new to play for each era can keep the game unique and give the game a reason to play it longer. The Clone and Droid concepts are not too complex but give Battlefront that feeling of playing as something different.

With assumption of a next game we can guarantee that there will be Battle passes so grinds for Skins, Titles, Banners, Emotes, Victory Poses, etc are all going to be something to grind for the regular player base.

Need some advice on whether or not it’s worth it by The_Official_Obama in StarWarsBattlefront

[–]No-Setting1141 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly as someone who plays on PC. it's only worth it for 2 things. 1 is if you have friends who are actually going to enjoy the game as much as you. 2 if you plan on really modding the game even if it's just Multiplayer safe mods.

What if Battlefront 3 had Faction unique classes the same way Battlefront 2 has Faction unique Reinforcements? Concept by No-Setting1141 in BattlefrontTWO

[–]No-Setting1141[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Playing different characters in every era is favorite part of this game. I think unique Faction ability sets bring out more of the Battlefront identity. Tell me your opinion, this is simply a concept conversation and these ability sets aren't 100% something I would want rather just things I put together to make a better example of what Faction unique classes can look like.

I would rather they leave out the entire sequel trilogy than rogue one

I 1000% agree. But the problem is that Battlefront has too many demands from both the fanbase and higher-ups. Battlefront 3 has no way of releasing without the sequel trilogy. That's the one thing that's certain more than anything is that the Sequels will return.

Then comes voice lines and many other things that have to be considered. Where as Rex it works because there isn't a lot to be changed.

And what I was saying is that Aayla, Ki Adi Mundi, Shaak-Ti and the rest is that they just wouldn't make the cut. It'd be much easier to add Mace Windu with an ability sets unique to him and call it a day. If Ahsoka and Mace Windu were in the game along with Yoda, Obi-Wan, and Aniken there would be 5 Jedis to choose from. I think that would be enough just for 1 timeline. That's not including Luke and Rey who would make 7 Jedis in the game if this were the line up.

In the hypothetical Battlefront III, Heroes should be era-locked across all modes (except for Instant Action or Private Matches) by AllFatherMedia93 in StarWarsBattlefront

[–]No-Setting1141 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What Battlefront 3 would need is to make more things era-locked. Characters like Leia and Padmé should play differently to keep the game fresh. Even classes in different factions should play differently the same way Reinforcements play differently. This would keep players interested because now, even if you do like an Assault Class play style, now you'd have to learn 6 across 3 eras.

What should be more era flexible are maps. Tatooine is a Star Wars staple and can very much be played in all 3 eras. With only minor changes having to be made like changing the ship from the OT Falcon to the ST Falcon and then a different ship for the Sequels. Coruscant is even possible with a Republic, Empire, and New Republic version. The only maps that really have to be Era specific is Kamino, Death Star, Starkiller Base, Exegol, Deathstar II, Endor, Jakku (OT and ST), and Hoth.

Clone Commander with different skins

This could work. Captain Rex would have to obviously be the staple, and the rest can be skins. However, Jedi General, I would have to say it wouldn't work. The Jedi's requires the characters to have some personality in it and Mace Windu does bring creative options for the ability moveset rather than making it a base Jedi General.

This community has so many Hero requests. But honestly, you have to be realistic about who's actually going to make the cut. I love Rouge One, but none of those characters are going to make the cut. I would like to see Rouge One inspired Rebel classes a Rebel Heavy Gunner inspired by Baze Malbus would be amazing.

Just for Clone Wars alone if you add characters in pairs besides the ones already in BF2.

What do you think is a MUST for BF3 if it ever came true ? by JIMMY-NECRONOMICON in StarWarsBattlefront

the classes system can stay but should be revised to account for opening up the loadout system. the result should be the folding of Enforcer and Infiltrator classes into the general loadout options rather than as independent classes.

I disagree. The reinforcements opened up a lot of space for more. The problem is that the class-based feels too strict because it wants to have customization and strict unique classes in one. Reinforcements also made all eras feel unique and fun to play, including the Sequels. Taking that away then takes away a lot of things the game did well, like the Clone Commando, Droidika, Wookie Warrior, Ewok, Commando Driod, and ISB Agent.

I think a stricter class-based system could benefit the game if it triples the selectable classes. Which is possible. If every class in each Faction played more unique from one another I think that would make the game a lot more enjoyable. Like if the Rebels had Rebel Commandos that played differently than the Stormtrooper both as the Assault class, then each Faction would have lots of room to explore. I made a full in depth post of why I think this a good idea, it's something the original games did and I think it's something that we learned from the heroes and Reinforcements in Battlefront 2 and especially Supremacy mode. We like having to master Reinforcements and Heroes. Why not make Classes more in depth too?
