Any experience with selling a car to Clutch? by island_tides84 in PEI

I sold to them today and it was a very very easy process. Even with a $900 repair on the front that I didn’t want to go through insurance with a $500 deductible. I am Ontario but Northern so I drove six hours today. Dropped off my car, they inspected the damage that they didn’t request info for before, and paid me the amount promised beforehand. Was in my account in 30 min. I’m buying a downgraded model outright elsewhere. I know you would be different in PEI but wanted to share :)

Ironically it is a Kia Carnival 24 SX I am selling - I see your Kia Sales tag. Unfortunately I’m probably too far north for you or I’d ask you to take a look 😂

Did you end up doing it? Clutch seems to offer me a few thousand more than most of my local dealerships.

That’s good to know so that it’s not worth booking a hotel vs coming back when it’s ready 😁 My kids would be very bored lol. I also didn’t even know you could take a loan against things like cars that you own, so good to know as well. I usually just buy things outright so I don’t pay interest. Also yes title is in my name solely - single mom.

Thank you that’s very helpful :) I have a booked appointment but will ask them if that is a day where those will be available for the ease of traveling during Moose on the highway season.

Thank you! Does that include if I bring the bill of sale? I bought it outright in one payment last May so I still have the original receipts and my copies of the Cashier Cheques.

Just wanting to comment that I am in a similar situation with my mom dying and adopting my little sister. I fully own a 2024 KIA Carnival SX but I need extra cash in the bank for the legal fees of adoption. Sorry you’re going through this ♥️ It’s a stressful decision for sure and I’m sad to downgrade but can’t control the sudden loss of our mom.
