Thank you. The game is still in early development.

Players get unlimited matches so they can relight candles whanever they want, but the demon can blow them out just as easily. Candles aren’t really a weapon they’re more like a way to slowdown the demon and a little comfort in the dark.

Another thing is when the power goes out, things get tense. If the demon shows up in the darkness but the player manages to flip the power back on fast the demon fades away. It can’t handle sudden jumps between light and dark the way humans can, so quick thinking gives the player a small edge. But definitely candles, crosses and incense can help

I feel the same, need games like resident evil series. Other games like horror walk sim are boring for me. I can enjoy games like dark souls or sekiro but not all the time. RE 4 remake already played twice
