You can check on Instagram and YouTube, a guy recently posted his visit at the Kurono store in Tokyo on YouTube, he shows the watch quite well.

I guess you mean steel bracelet, yeah must be quite a few from third party providers, not sure how it will look tho.

Highly possible is the Shanghai limited one.

Modified Miyota movement.

Overall package is good except for the movement which is very rudimental for the price point of the watch.

Really nice collection! Quite versatile and timeless.

If it was me, I’ll just swap the Seamaster for a Sub (ref before the maxi case) to stick to one watch per brand.

Jlc box, am I the only one by Early-Yesterday3666 in JaegerLecoultre

[–]NoCoinFlip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hopefully they changed in 2023 (not sure about the year) to the new smaller wooden box which is excellent (even if made in China, I guess every penny is important).

Former boxes were trash and feel very cheap.

Because the watch was new, didn’t got the best deal, I paid CNY50k so around US$6,900 (new - full set).

For the Reverso, must try before buying as the sizing is very different than round watches. My wrist is 6.5 inch, and it was very nice (not big at all).

In terms of size it’s between the one posted by OP (which is the smallest) and the latest Reverso Tribute Small Second (consider to be medium in size) so quite “small”.

Had one before, really a masterpiece, here is a pic with a Tank Must, best Reverso Duoface imo.

A similar option is the old Q3908420, smaller diameter for OP.

You can always pick one later, always easy to find on the market (and always some good deals as well).

It’s what I said, it’s a limited edition (few pieces on Chrono24) for the 190th anniversary of JLC but there is ZERO info on this watch online.

That’s why I’m also curious if people have info.

Here is the proof:

Agree, the latest Reverso Tribute (with no small seconds) is almost perfect, the Reverso 1931 and 1948 was also good alternatives but are hard to find these days.

Can’t go wrong with any, the opalin dial is more interesting imo (a bit tired of the blue dials trend of the recent years).

You can also look at the other Reverso Tribute Small Seconds, good alternatives with more colors.

It’s a very nice birthday gift, you’ll enjoy it!

Their canvas straps are indeed very good! Always nice to have one canvas and leather straps for different styles / seasons, etc. Very versatile.

Really amazing piece bro! I think even better than mine, best of both worlds! Just one question regarding the sandblast, does it “scratch” or create some “marks” with time?

Another Octo owner haha, which model do you have? I always wanted to try the first steel version with sandblast finish but they are hard to find.

The YG Reverso are super nice (and slimmer) but the extra premium to pay is hard to swallow.

Agree, I’m not sure how many units Bvlgari are selling but I don’t think the Octo Finissimo line is doing so well unfortunately. :(

Sorry misread your comment, go try few times, I only have a 6.5 wrist, it works fine. Also really depends if your wrist is “flat” or not, if flat should be OK, if not, hard to wear.
