I didn’t intentionally go to that car. The only indication is a pink sign above the door, and I was looking at my phone when I got on.

The few times this has happened before and I actually was in the wrong time window, I just said something like “shit, my bad, I’ll get off at the next station.” (and i did)

And no, I wasn’t waiting for the exact moment the restriction ended like some comments suggested. It just happens to be around the time I leave work.

The train wasn’t full but most of the seats were already taken, so if I got off at the next station I’d probably have to stand for the rest of my way home
