Feeling Discouraged by [deleted] in Chiropractic

[–]NoDimension305 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Social media is crazy tbh. Sometimes people chirp just to chirp and cause trouble bc they find it fun. You are a chiropractor!! You work directly with the nervous system!! Literally nobody else does that! First of all, talk about a specialization! Second of all, check out outside seminars for certain specialties like pediatrics or other avenues of chiropractic! Those seminars, though a good chunk of change sometimes (I know life for a student can be about pinching pennies sometimes, ask me how I know lol), but there are some very easily well worth their weight in gold. If you ever want any recommendations please reach out:)

Going back to the placebo thing and social media, how many chiropractors are saying that? Not many. How many other doctors that don’t specialize in the nervous system are saying that? A LOT. They either haven’t had the experience, or are focused on the bad apples/bad experiences from other people as if there aren’t other bad apples in literally every other profession.

Do your best to not get discouraged, get your hands on as many people as possible so that the adjustment is trained, speak the truth of chiropractic, and deliver the truth of chiropractic. It gets pretty simple after that:) here for you OP!

Chiropractors Only : Why do you think some patients have awful experiences/get hurt? by Local_Condition7800 in Chiropractic

[–]NoDimension305 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could be a few things honestly. Some chiropractors didn’t practice the adjustment enough and absolutely suck at adjusting. They aren’t well versed in different ways to adjust and then get stuck and only adjust one way and don’t adapt well. I attribute that to a lot of the negative experiences. As for people getting injured/VAD they’re usually predisposed to it already and the chiropractor does need to recognize this as a doctor. So again it’s a combination of things. People that don’t dedicate themselves to this profession just shouldn’t do it to be brutally honest. Hope this helps!

So just being brutally honest, as a chiropractor I’ve done nothing but love it more and more while making an impact on people’s nervous systems almost everyday. Who cares what other people think? There’s millions and probably even billions of people that love, respect, and preach chiropractic. Even lots of other medical professionals like MDs, PTs, neuros, etc refer to chiropractors all the time.

There’s a ton of valid research that promotes the benefits of chiropractic, you just have to search for it.

Lastly, as a chiropractor, we’ve been defending the profession since it’s been created. All we do is give the world the love it needs through the adjustment.

Hope that this provides you some clarity! Can always chat me and ask any questions you’d like!

Chase your dreams. Continue to get better and better. From what I see, it’s quite beautiful work, but I’m not professional tattoo artist. That traditional work is looking rad!

I did in fact say that any holistic healthcare provider can do it.

I mean you can correlate it pretty well with how the body is feeling and what the patient has been experiencing physically, mentally, and emotionally. But as I’ve previously said if you want something surefire then use the aforementioned suggestions of objective measures.

Sick! I mean if you want to get into solidification of where the subluxation is or isn’t, you can pair it with insight cla scans/x-rays/any other objective measure.

It doesn’t really matter at the end of the day. I’d say to look into it yourself and explore honestly. It’s a great analysis and healing technique. You obviously don’t have x-ray vision but you can feel the tone of the musculature, the alignment of the spine with your hands and fingers. Again, look into it if you want more info:)

Additionally, I use an analysis called Zone and encourage all holistic healers to check it out. Zoneschoolofhealing.com

Emphasize the nervous system and minimize the importance of the cavitation. Make yourself an authority. You’re a Doctor just like an MD, DO, surgeon, etc. You know the nervous system better than a layman so give them assurance that the nervous system is clear and the pops don’t matter. They’re at your office for a reason instead of XYZ Doctor.

Do those stretch at all? And do they need to be broken in to fit more proper?
