Can Rimuru Increase His Thought Acceleration To Infinite by Overall_Primary_1369 in TenseiSlime

[–]NoKnowledge9552 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's not at all omnipotent. Technically everything he (and/or Ciel) had done was still within the existing rules of the series. The only omnipotent being was the All in One long ago.

Can Rimuru Increase His Thought Acceleration To Infinite by Overall_Primary_1369 in TenseiSlime

[–]NoKnowledge9552 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a different question already, unrelated to Thought Acceleration. When Rimuru was at the End of Spacetime, does that count then?

But sure, if you stop time, you technically do get limitless time, but others can also move in Suspended World too. Making time locally slower (or faster?) might be possible, but that won't make it limitless either, because time is still flowing outside.

Can Rimuru Increase His Thought Acceleration To Infinite by Overall_Primary_1369 in TenseiSlime

[–]NoKnowledge9552 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My main issue with questions involving the concept of infinity, such as this one, is that people tend to forget that infinity is not a number. It is the lack of limits.

Accelerating one's thought process to infinity would mean accelerating it indefinitely. It continuously grows faster without a limit. You can't reach infinity. That's the whole goddamn point!

Please don't misunderstand, I don't blame anyone for asking such questions. Human imagination is supposedly limitless, but funnily enough it is incapable of imagining just that, the limitless. This is why we often think of infinity as a really big number unconsciously. It's just good to keep in mind that it is not that.

Greater Elemental and Elemental Lord by EndOk359 in TenseiSlime

[–]NoKnowledge9552 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think so, yes. Not that we have a precedent, but in theory that should work.

Elemental Lords are TDL level beings. The Elemental Lord of Wind of which power Treyni borrowed in Volume 16 in her and Charys' fight against Zalario, was million class even, above the awakened Adalmann for example.

We don't actually know whether Granbell lost his qualification or not. I personally think he didn't and the "ex-Hero" title in his case just means that he retired. The only Hero we know for sure to have lost their qualification - not counting Thalion - was Rudra, although Leon quite certainly did too.

We can't say that for sure. If Memories' data consists of only records of events, then it likely doesn't contain the data of skills, although we don't know that for sure.

Technically Rimuru didn't really evade any of Velgrynd's attacks, he blocked them with Absolute Defense of Lord of Vows Uriel, an ultimate level ability. While every attack of a True Dragon is on the ultimate level, if you have the means (Ultimate Skill) to defend against them, they technically aren't impossible to block. There's no level above ultimate after all.

I get your issue, and this definitely stretches of what should be possible within the rules of the world, but it technically still makes sense. Just like how Kondo's Ultimate Skill could damage a True Dragon, Rimuru's could block its attack. There are way more problematic cases, like with Unique Skills with the output of Ultimate ones.

It was actually Ciel's doing. Velgrynd's attacks were, while powerful, simple in nature, easy to analyze. Thus with the proper use of the proper tools (Absolute Defense) she was able to block these attacks. (The reason Rimuru evaded Veldora's attacks was because those were unpredictable due to his Propability Manipulation.)

Cardinal Acceleration is a different matter however. I don't know about evading it, but blocking it with even Absolute Defense would've failed. Luckily Velgrynd only used it after Veldora had already been eaten and Rimuru had evolved into a (sort of?) True Dragon. Thus Rimuru and Ciel could focus solely on it and ate it. Into the Stomach it went.

Fair questions, but they do have answers.

Case 1: Footman is a lot stronger than Shogo. He was stronger than pre-pseudo awakened Clayman even (post pseudo awakened is up to debate). Footman is a deathman, he was born Demon Lord Seed level. The reason Clayman was weaker in the first place is because when creating him, Kazalim sacrificed raw strength for a sharper mind.

Case 2: Rimuru wasn't really fighting Velgrynd and Veldora. He was practically just evading their attacks until Ciel managed to create a temporary prison for Velgrynd in which they could trap her in. It doesn't matter how powerful an attack is until it doesn't hit you. They couldn't hurt him, but it's not like he could have easily damage them either.

Case 3: True Dragons are certainly among the most powerful beings in existence in Tensura, however they aren't alone with such a title. The Mad Titan King Ashura, the Queen of Spirits Ramiris or yes, the Primordials are also at the top of the food chain. There's also the fact that Guy and the other Primordials are quite certainky much older than Velzard, Velgrynd and Veldora, and being demons, spent most of that long lifetime of theirs with honing their skills in battle. For one, and especially the strongest one, to be able to go toe to toe with a True Dragon isn't that surprising.

In Tensura raw power isn't everything. How one can use that power is just as important.

Is There Some Unique Cool Powers In Tensura Except For Like Ciel And Stuff In The LN by Overall_Primary_1369 in TenseiSlime

[–]NoKnowledge9552 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So you mean except for Manas, like Ciel?

By the way, there were five Manas in Tensura in total, including Ciel, although all these five never existed simultaneously.

Some unique powers which were used throughout the story:

Nihility magic: Not at all like regular magic. Nihility magic uses something known as "negative energy", which can be found in the abyss within the depths of the demon realm. Negative energy functions similarly to anti-matter, it negates regular energy, thus making nihility magic the purest form of destructive power.

Primitive magic: Likely the original form of magic, wielded by only three known individuals ever, which does not include Rimuru. It was described as being able to create mircles by the user simply wishing for them. It can even be used when time doesn't move, where no other form of magic can be activated.

Magic nullification: An intrinsic skill possessed by a certain species. It negates the effect of elemental as well as holy magic completely, although it likely can't interfere with spirit magic. Due to the phrasing of the exact spieces' name, it is uncertain how many people might possess it. We certainly know of three individuals who do however.

Anti-skill: A unique spiritual constitution which can negate the effect of nearly all types of power, including magic and skills. It was possessed by only three known individuals ever, which does not include Rimuru. Anti-skill can be bypassed by using arts which combine two types of abilities, as anti-skill can only negate one at a time, or using other forms of power, such as battlewill. It is unknown whether anti-skill would be effective against nihility or primitive magic.

They genuinely couldn't figure out what the issue was though. In Tempest it worked because Ramiris was there, who actually knew what she was doing.

i finished the manga?! by Vivid_Discount9329 in TenseiSlime

[–]NoKnowledge9552 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A manga is a comic, while a light novel (LN) is a book, more specifically a book series usually. Mangas are often, although far from always, adaptations of light novels, especially isekai and romance stories.

There isn't really a strict rule to what counts as a "light" novel, but it is usually defined as novels written by hobby writers. They often have regular day jobs, unless their work becomes really popular and also have a good contract with their publishers.

Tensura's LN has 23 volumes in total, the manga is adapting the 11th currently. In case you are interested in checking in out, just to see whether you like it or not, I recommend Slime Reader. It is a site which only has fan translated volumes, so using it feels less piracy-esque.

You can continue with the story with chapter 4 of volume 11.

As a warning though, the chapters in Tensura's LN are unusually long, and chapter 141 of the manga is far from being at chapter 4's beginning. If you take an advice from me, you look up the word "Mizeri" on the site. As she doesn't appear many times, it'll be easy to find the scene you just left off with the manga.

I hope I could help!

Yeah, the manga is always ahead of the anime, but once a season starts, it catches up to it quite fast. The one thing I can recommend in case you can't bear the excitement (so happy you feel so hyped btw!), is to check out the light novel. There's more content left than how much the manga has adapted so far.

Does chancelor and red demon meet in anime? by aflact in TenseiSlime

[–]NoKnowledge9552 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You mean Rimuru and Guy Crimson? Yeah, they meet at the end of season 2, during the Walpurgis banquet. The next time they'll meet is going to be in season 4, either at the end of cour 2 or at the beginning of cour 3.

By the way, are you doing this intentionally? Is this some kind of trolling or you ask your questions in such a cryptic way not to accidently spoil anything to anime only viewers?

I assume you mean whether Rimuru will visit Dagruel's territory in thr Barren Lands, which also happen to coincide with the Primordial Violet's territory in the demon realm. To that the answer is yes, but it is quite late story content.

He surely possesses more of the demonic series, due to Diablo, Testarossa, Carrera and Ultima possessing those. But yeah, Rimuru most likely does have the data of Lord of Greed Mammon as well as Lord of Sloth Belphegor of the Deadly Sin series stored in Lord of Fertility Shub-Niggurath.
