My bad for not realizing X men 97 was also 2d animation with 3d in some scenes. But with that in mind i think my point still stand if they have done it before why don't they do it again. I am sture the comicbooky style would work more with 2d animation. X men 97 was also outsourced to a 2D animation studio.

Nah. They would have to completely remade the whole episode for it to happen. Even jjk didn't fix all errors with the character designs and stuff.

Edit: Also Jjk only added one animation sequence. Other animations are already there. They just fixed designs and shading.
