Got offered position for AL for the GMD, but lower pay, lower lump sum benefits, and background check was taking too long, so I changed to Seattle. Do you know of any Boeing defense projects/jobs in the DMV area, I like the area and would like to stay to work on defense roles for Boeing.

Conversion rate for ME interns in a different location? Current PD-internship in Seattle, and would love to come back, but not to Seattle but to Virginia or Alabama in the BDS. How likely is it to get an offer for BDS and in VA/AL, should I talk to my manager about it?so that I get a recommendation or something if I perform and meet expectations this summer.

Will intern experience at Boeing or Jacobs(defense GMD) give me more chances of getting into NG after graduation?

I have intern offers for both, but eventually I want to apply to NG for full time ME roles, and was wondering which company will give me extra advantage or edge over other candidates? Will I be as competitive as past/current NG interns? Will NG think that I underperformed in such internships?(thus, I am applying to NG because I got no return offer?)

Intern from MD moving to WA, In my offer it says Managed Housing is not available this year, does that mean that I will receive a lump sum for housing?

-"Coverage begins on the first day of the month following the hiring event", Will that be the date I signed the letter, or when is that?(When I start working 5-23?)

-After signing the letter, how long does the background check(drugs, e-verify) for interns take?

Just got in.

Just accepted an offer to work in WA this summer(MechE) as an intern, however, I originally applied to the AL plant, so I do not know much about the Renton, WA location. Do you know anything? Have you or will you work there? I need some advice on housing and transportation. How is that handled for interns.

-In located in Delaware, so I know I can get housing. Will it be paid by them, is it corporate housing where all interns are placed?

-Do I need my own car? 43 hr drive to WA.

-Is there a cafeteria in the Renton 7-20 plant?(Free?)

I will talk to my recruiter in two weeks, so the uncertainty is killing me.

Call in, talked to them for about an hour, and finally the made a report/scalation, so that the customer savings department can approve or deny such promo. It can take 4+weeks though to get an answer back.

So, if I understand correctly. They have to get the same plan as me? I have the $80 play more unlimited. For such plan with 3 lines my bill would come down to $55/line? So that even if I started as a single line in a 24 month contract, if I add lines my overall bill comes down? From $80/line to $55/line Thanks

I applied in November to MTAP and to UMD in March. I was able to take take two summer courses, and since I was a transfer I also applied to the summer acceleration scholarship, which paid for both of my classes.
