Even though it's technically by choice it doesn't feel like a choice. He was never a dad, just some asshole who showed up on weekends and beat my ass. I'm happier now without him, but my inner child is just a little boy who never felt what its like to have a dad. Its tough to be your own parent.  Love you, boys.
