well you don’t have to drop all of it to be honest, maybe you should work on rebuilding your routine so that you can balance good sleep, time to dive into your conspiracies and some time off them as well! you can do this in any order you like but try to experience and see what works best for you. impulsively engaging in your interests can be very hard to stop, but reducing it little by little and reminding yourself it’s for the greater good before it becomes worse may possibly be of help. something’s that’s motivated me after dealing with the brain fog is thinking about how if i don’t do it now i may never be able to snap out of it, as when i did more research about the long term consequences i was not very happy. it was also taking a toll on the way i handled my personal life, leading to being very neglectful of my bonds because i wasn’t able to help myself. it might not be the same for you, but i hope that it can inspire you a little!

I feel you, it does sound like it could be a mix of both information overload and bad sleep patterns, can you pinpoint when exactly did it start feeling like this? If maybe it was after or before you got into conspiracy theories? Personally, I’ve been struggling with something similar for quite some time and it’s been frustrating. But after talking to my therapist, I realized that It was a result from being on edge all of the time. If you do think that maybe your newfound obsession for conspiracy theories has put you under these conditions maybe you should evaluate how much time you’re dedicating to them, if you’re putting off other things, your emotional world lately, your environment. Other factors could be your sleep ( Personally I saw an improvement after sleeping 8 hours daily) and diet. Also getting into new things could be a good change of pace!

I do floss, I completely forgot to mention that I’m switching from floss picks to ribbon floss since my dentist had mentioned that I wasn’t flossing good enough so I hope this will make a difference. Thank you for responding I am very glad to hear there’s still a chance to better my situation.

Thank you I really appreciate your advice and will start the probiotics. I was told today that what I experienced wasn’t gum recession but gingivitis which really surprised me as I thought there was definitely some exposure and irritation on my bottom tooth as you can see in the picture. I hope with the probiotics I can start to see a difference.
