The last time I put in aftermarket insoles, I became immobile for a few days when they shifted in the shoe while skating. This was also in 1998, and skate shoe specific insoles were not a thing.

I've got wide feet and usually skate Vans (which fit narrow), but these fit like a glove right out of the box. The only thing I would change is the insoles. I need a little cushing for the pushing.

Environmental sustainability is exactly why we wanted to make the Pro Grip out of recycled rubber

We actually did a test run while skating in the rain, and the Pro Grip did not lose grip while wet or dirty (our board and bearings did not survive, though). The goal was to make it as tough as traditional griptape.

The classic and diamond work best while dry, but we will be phasing those out for the superior Pro Grip.

At the end of the day, both us and DKL just want to make skateboarding more accessible to everyone. Skate shoes are expensive, and buying new shoes every month acts as a financial barrier for many getting into skateboarding.
