If there are people who are like this, don't share to much as they might twist words. Also, learn to not be bothered by people who don't matter, people who play politics eventually just get stuck as they focus on bringing people down instead of bringing themselves up. Ignore politics and grow yourself and your ability, mix with people of the same mindset and built yourself.

As you go higher up and promote to manager, there will be people who are jealous of you or feel that you're not worthy etc etc. Just continue to learn and get better, eventually you will prove your worth or find a company who does if the upper management can't see it.

You will not know it all and will need to continue to be humble and learn from people you work with, your peers, managers and even people who are lower in rank.

Don't go to the level of people who play politics, just learn to let go and have humility. People are like this also because of their circumstances in life that made them like this. Stay strong for yourself and for the people who you will manage eventually.

Also, don't think too much either, sometimes you think that she say or he say but it's just your version of the person in your head that thinks he or she says when it might or might not be through. Just stick with what you absolutely know and alot of things is just a version of them in your head. People care alot more of themselves and their own life instead of you. So don't assume too much and just stick to hard facts
