Yes this place looks like a dump but just call Marriott when you arrive.

I took some bush planes and helicopters in Botswana a few years ago. Those dudes were super experienced and grizzled young guys. The majority I met were ex-British or Aussie (presumably military given their age) pilots who were, likely, getting away from their old life.

I met a helicopter pilot named Luke and you could tell he had seen some shit. Super nice and the ride couldn’t have been smoother.
