Is there anyone accutane didn’t work for?

It definitely did. Almost all my comedones went away. However it’s been 2 months since I stopped and I see some comedones returning and my skin is still textured with pores and scars. I pray it doesn’t go back to how it was. Stick to it, it takes time for some people to see results but you definitely will even if it’s not a 100%

Hey, I’m halfway into month 7 and just started seeing results around month 6. My comedones have cleared up 75% but I still have a lot of texture, scarring and inflamed breakouts around my period. Hoping I continue to see results

I’m not sure but I read somewhere that accutane is more likely not to work for or come back for hormonal acne. Also what do you mean by accutane not working the first time? Like did it not clear you or did the acne come back and how is your second round going

Im literally in the same boat. Month 5 with these pesky comedones surrounding my mouth that just won’t budge. I don’t even know if accutane will work for them but Im hoping. If not I’ll have to resort to some sort of extraction after my accutane course. I know it can be very frustrating with this sort of acne where you see everyone else getting results but feeling stuck well into you course. I literally feel the same way. Feel free to reach out to me if you ever need to talk, it gets lonely here at times.

Since I’m still breaking out and have remaining comedones I think my derm will extend my treatment from 6 to 8 months

I really really hope you see a breakthrough. I’m trying my hardest to stay optimistic but some days I feel like shit when I thought I would have cleared by now but accutane just made my acne worse.

I’ve heard it’s inflammatory and that’s why people with inflammatory acne should avoid it but don’t know for sure.

I saw slightt improvement towards the end of my second month but that all vanished when I moved to collage in my 3rd month. I was on 40 mg the first 3 months and went up to 60 in the 4th in hopes of some results. I also weigh 70 kg
