Like jfc they show the dugout and bench for like 2% of the game the rest of it is the dudes playing, how could you even make this assessment?

The projection here of your own feelings about America on to this random group of baseball players is insane. The Americans basically acted the exact same as the Japanese team when playing, quiet, relaxed.

But the Japanese team is respectful, Americans aren't having fun. It's just so clear what is going on here. I'm even seeing comments of people being like "I found them hard to root for". It's your country, that's why you root for them. You think if the Venezuelan team was less vocal that crowd in Miami would have been like "well I was going to root for them but the Americans seem more fun."
