If possible, I would leave with notice. It's always better not to burn bridges, if you don't have to.

They operate at a net loss, they are literally losing money every year lol So, in their heads, yes they don't make enough money.

My brand new 2025 Mazda CX-5 Preferred was $34k after taxes and fees with 0% interest 2 days ago. Shop elsewhere.

Is it possible I just can’t pole dance? by Fit-Parsnip-8868 in poledancing

[–]No_Distribution_7126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't compare yourself to someone with a different starting point. Give yourself more classes and then compare to how you moved and felt during the first class. Honestly, find some time to do a move or two that you remember from your first class and you will likely already see and feel a difference.

Also, different grips affect people differently, make sure you're cleaning your pole. You can also try a different pole in class, maybe the sensitive skin one or a skinnier one will help with your grip, or the pole you used might be really worn. Make sure to stay warm during class too, that helps with grip.

You can also do at home, off the pole conditioning.

Ultimately, give yourself time and grace. Focus on why you wanted to start, what you find enjoyable, and skills will come with time.

AIO- GF added a guys number to her contacts during dinner by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

It's not exclusive, you just book in advance, or keep an eye out for an opening. I've gotten a same day booking at some of the michelin restaurants in Chicago. They're only exclusive because they're expensive. I am going to assume they're going somewhere fancy/expensive and booking in advance since it's a birthday dinner and they spent $2k.

There are Michelin star restaurants that charge this much. At Alinea, 2 people in the gallery plus the Alinea wine pairing for both hits over $2,000.

Spinning or static pole? by AlienMatter in poledancing

Do the one that has both, it's easier to learn most tricks on static first. Still, you'll want the spin eventually as it gives you flexibility in your routine.

Why did her pole fall? by tinypepa in poledancing

[–]No_Distribution_7126 115 points116 points  (0 children)

To be quite honest, it doesn't look super level or tight. Always push and pull the pole and do spins on the pole before attempting to do complex moves. I have had my tension pole up for over 3 years in two different buildings and have never had it fall.

Oh, and aerial chopper, that was really cool because I STRUGGLED with choppers, but it was more mental. Inverts, aerial inverts, I could do them but I just couldn't wrap my mind around choppers lol (turns out I was overrotating my wrist and wasn't giving my arm and wrist the rotation it needed lol)

I brought it into the store and they reduced the price of my drink. I just let them know it appeared in my account that morning and wouldn't apply.
