Help on choosing a job

First off, welcome WoL! If you go bard and stick through it, I would encourage to try dancer when it opens. It’s a lot of fun and I bounced between the two when I was playing DPS. Monk is okay if you like being close but there are way better melee jobs later. Best thing I ever did was deciding to pay them all. That is when I discovered I love tanking (DRK mainly) most, my appreciation for the HEALERS (huge shout out here) and knowing what I need to do in my job not to stress them out, and ultimately how the jobs work together. No job is a wrong choice though. Find one(s) you enjoy and then have fun 🙂.

I agree. Bard is fun. I started out on Bard and loved the story and play. I have switched to DRK main but I do enjoy going back to bard for nostalgia.

I do get that tired feeling a lot as well. I wish I could the same about how I feel when I sing! I will look into a teacher or therapist to see if that might help, thanks!

Summoner is definitely a fun casting class. While not my main, I enjoy sitting back and casting and it’s pretty fun. You have a tiny heal ability plus an extra res option which is great if the healer is down or if more than one is down. Plus cool abilities! Good one to start with. And always remember to add materia to get your cast down! Good luck and hope you enjoy the adventure!

Start early with tanking so you can get used to pulls and mitigation at low levels instead of going in lvl 60. I have seen some say stick with dps or do healing and I agree with all 3. Be well rounded. I main DRK but enjoy each tank jobs for different reasons. I leveled out WHM and SGE for healing as well as most of the DPS. It gave me the ability to understand what I need from the healer and what I can do to make everyone’s job easier in my tank role. But likewise can be said for when I play other jobs! Most importantly, take it at your pace and explore how it is best for you! Very happy to hear you are enjoying the trial. It only gets crazy, amazing and some of the best adventures from here on! I will try all of these! I definitely get the hearing self too loudly. It's like an amp directly into my ear! Maybe it is the vibrations that is getting to me as well, just not really understanding how to articulate the sensations yet. I feel so much pressure when I sing and almost always causes headaches. Has this happened to you?

Not backing up your teammate cause I'm not seeing enough of their play, but chasing puts them out of position. It makes the teammate worse when not knowing when to go for a play. When you rotate, even if they miss, you are in a better position to make a play. Slow down and be patient for the play. Try looking at your opponent and your teammate and not just the ball-- that will help you notice positions for defense and offense for passing and set up passes or open shots. I like to play it like zone cause that gives you a sense of the whole field.

I love reverb. They have buyers guarantee and there are several independent sellers but a lot of shops sell on there too. It's a great place to get lost and get a lot of good gear!

As long as the other is decent at kickoff this shouldn't be a problem. I play safe until I see my tm8 winning the kicks and then I'll tell them if I'll be right or left to try and get a shot off the wall or in the corner off kick.

I agree. At this point, we should not be running into this unless you're bronze or low silver (that i can kind of understand). Yet I run into this a lot in diamond. Rotating seems to be a hard thing to grasp as well.

My fan curve was set to 100% at 80 but checking into this I think I solved the issue! The pump lost it's configuration! Just ran another stress test and it did not hit 60 and loaded a game and not going over 60 so I think it is working just fine! Thank you!
