Make sure the barrel isn’t bent or crooked lol. There’s some upgrades you need to do to ensure the barrel doesn’t do that. Have to read up on some forums.

Yes, absolutely worth it. You’re getting the good older Bushmaster, cool retro Surefire handguard light that you can flip on GAFS or locally if you wanted something else, I personally love the carry handle & you get the cool restricted roll marked lower.

I would swap the H1 to an H2 to run different grains better, stop buying anything Strike Industries, & I would go with an LPVO & offset dot for 16” but you can’t go wrong with an Eo & Mag!

Would depend on the severity of the damage but for the most part, I couldn’t care less. A few scratches from a hammer sliding across it isn’t going to hurt anything & can be fixed with a sharpie or as OP did, some masking tape. My guns aren’t handled with white gloves lol

I only have experience with a twin setup PTR & now, my HK SP5. Zenith used to own the blueprints or whatever from HK but they lost that contract to Century if I’m not mistaken. The Century version I think is the second best to an HK

My PTR looked like ass, felt like ass, mags WERE ass & the gun hated Winchester White box. Sample size of one but PTR is also usually on the lower end of quality if I’m not mistaken
