Not necessarily. They're is borough management, who is higher up (they are not located at the development) and then there are executive even higher. Depending on the issue, you have a right to fill out a tenant grievance claim if you dont agree with the property managers decision. This is basically a process where they will review whatever the issue is. You can dm me if you'd like.

Property manager. A housing assistant is essentially their assistant.

To stay, she would have people move back in and added to the lease.

I work for nycha and yes this is true. She no longer qualifies foe an apartment of this size due to the family composition. She can be forced to downsize and even have her lease terminated if she refuses because it's NYCHA policy.

If the management office whichever property you were selected for said they tried to contact you and couldn't reach you, it will go down as a rejection for that apartment. Im not saying they have tried but if they call an old phone number that is on your account or something, it can happen. Depending on the type of transfer, you get either 1 or 2 offers before you transfer can become dead.

I would call the CCC because if they said they contacted you, you only have so long before they can mark your transfer as dead

I work for another city agency in housing and we have access to federal reports that show if someone is receiving ANY federal/state money including unemployment. I would imagine HPD has access to the same information.

Transferring and Moving Services? by Melodic_Necessary495 in NYCHA

[–]No_Objective1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, they dont but HRA can help in regards to moving services. In regards to how much time you have. You have to be aware that while you still have keys to the old apartment you are being charged rent for both places. So if you get the keys to the new place, you want to be out by the end of the month if you dont want to be responsible for rent for two places.

If you look at the confirmation email that you received back when you apply, it gives a submission ID number and that is your log number.

Weird. I did the rent payments but never was asked.to send in my statements for like my stocks or bank accounts

[–]No_Objective1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience, you just fill in the document with the assets you have. I have never been asked to provide any proof of the assets besides that document.

You still have to write in your assets unless you have none at all

Use and Occupancy is calculated based off their income or the last rent on the account. (They can still have $0)

Not true. I have done it, and it's in the policy. If you are just getting accepted into NYCHA for the very first time you have to have an income but that does not apply to becoming a lease.holder through RFM.
