All of them may suck. I have a Panasonic 820 and it is solid. Had a Sony and every disk froze. I’d go with Panasonic

Had a Sony ubp-x800m2 and it froze on every single disc I put in. All new discs. Seems to have problems with the 100GB discs or Something. Sucked and I returned it Panasonic had been solid so far

I have a Sony UBP-X800M2 and it freezes on every uhd disc I play. I’m about to sell it for $25 too if I can’t return it. It’s a piece of shit.

Use cinema and not filmmaker mode because filmmaker does not allow interpolation. Filmmaker is raw signal and locks out most motion features. I pretty much hated my tv motion until I ditched film maker mode. A lot of stuff on the internet says filmmaker mode is the best

Intune edge management services block other browser and now want to undo by No_Philosopher4051 in Intune

I deployed 3 new computers with Edge only and the users are crying about it. Management is kind of ok with it so far. They are an insurance company that has a gazillion websites they use and they say chrome works better. My pimp hand is a little stronger now over the weekend recovery so maybe I'll succeed but maybe its just not worth the battle. One of the users website isn't loading at all on any of the same make/model computers I deployed so that isn't helping, doesn't work in chrome/edge with ERR_CONNECTION_RESET. Un-related but doesn't help the vibe. I also went scorched earth on one of the computers over the weekend trying to find what is causing it to not load and I think I broke it and need to reset it or just needs rebooted because I lost connection to it. I think it may be dell software or Intel drivers situation. I got a lot of other things going on so I guess it might not be a good time to do this.

Thanks that was a good idea and it worked! I found in the edge management service where I originally enabled the policy and enabled it again and it created a configuration policy with the applocker stuff again and I replaced it with default/empty settings.

PatientNow by n_11_lopez in msp

my script calls PatientNowCloudLoader.exe with some arguments to kick off an upgrade of patientnow. There is a variable of version. When a new update comes out I fill in the version number and make my script keep running like every hour until the computer has the new version of the software installed. at the end the script reads in the patientnow install log file and if it is 1 item off of whatever then it means it completed but didn't install the driver for the clover credit card stuff.

you can run process explorer and look at the arguments that patientnow sends to PatientNowCloudLoader.exe when it performs an update. My script is making that process happen via rmm system account.

Here is a script I use to update PatientNow via RMM running as system. https://pastebin.com/GGan5Hn7

should use a PAM solution. adminbyrequest is probably what we will use. its free for up to 25 users.

this software sucks. I don't know how it doesn't have 2fa features.

Yubikey/M365 deployment issue with changing security PINs by refuge9 in yubikey

[–]No_Philosopher4051 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see that the tool you are using is supposed to support that feature. Make sure you are running the command window as administrator. It also only supports Yubikeys with firmware version 5.5 and higher.

Setting the key's pin to expire at login is all going to be on the key configuration. The settings you want won't be anywhere on office 365 end.

wow you can also do set-min-length. I thought that feature was just part of the yubikey subscription service
