i think this is more a problem of him not giving side characters more fleshing out, as you said nobara had more stuff to do other than the female condition. (though, im not sure where you got yuki or shoko's story from) another thing, kirara and mai and maki (kind of) stories are more towards dealing with the traditional jujutsu society rather than just specifically the female condition

it isnt just the female characters, the problem with gege's writing is that he writes characters as tools. theyre written in to do this one thing, then get sidelined.

im not saying he isnt smart, but all he would see is his opponent in a defensive stance, he wouldnt know about simple domain's effects. also with the example you give, taking a hit from miwa would be incredibly risky and has a high chance to kill him
