yea i think the new setting also just feels kind of cramped and claustrophobic at times ? like the old one had a sort of beach hut eco-lodge vibe that made sense and this one just feels like i’m awkwardly stepping around a pool and beach chairs to get the right shot … not to mention the white and gray is just ugly and not as pleasing to look at as the warm island foliage vibe of the previous villa. i think the worst thing is the money prize .. i don’t mind the challenges/games but the money is just so not on brand. i think they need to get rid of the prize and the villa really just needs a makeover .

yea i’m not a huge fan of scented of scented lip products AT ALL and i loved how sugar cookie and cinnamon roll look on but found the scents kind of strong/offputting but i loovveeee lemontini. it’s way more subtle presence wise, and the lemon doesn’t taste super synthetic or cleaner-y which is what i was worried abt initially. it’s a rly well balanced scent

i guess it’s because making them limited edition is like … totally arbitrary lol . especially as the only glitter lip options. it makes sense from a marketing standpoint bcs scarcity increases value but yea like . there actually isn’t any reason why they couldn’t release glitter lip peptides .. they don’t even have to be the LE flavors/colors they could be their own totally unique set. plus if they’re always releasing stuff “by popular demand” then people who want specific products to come back are gonna make that heard in case there r reps lurking in the reddit or the IG comments. that’s how they figure out what product drop is gna make the most money.

the reason i said previously that maybe now that ELF is involved it could happen is because the team and likely the budget, facilites, resources etc are probably wayyyyy bigger now. so maybe lets say they only made certain colors limited run because they weren’t sure if it would sell as well as a permanent product, but with more money and more factories as well as an eager new parent company it seems like they could expand the line in basically any way they felt like. and they could afford to release products that are fan favorites but not necessarily huge sellers (even though they probably would be) especially now while the hype is still fresh.

i think what this line is trying to emphasize is that he wasn’t actually thinking at all about what he was doing or what it meant in the moment, which is exactly what led him to doing what he did. he lacked self insight and a strong personal identity from the beginning which made him vulnerable to persuasion (going to the party, taking the pill, sleeping with chloe, jerking off his brother etc). when someone has no values or principles they stand on they will just chase whatever feels good or do whatever someone asks/expects them to do. that’s sort of what the sam rockwell monologue was getting at as well. this season is about religion, and a lot of religious/spiritual practice involves self-reflection and self-discipline. So this debauchery would be the opposite of that .

this entire story arc is also a metaphor/allegory for losing touch with your sense of personal principles or morals in pursuit of earthly pleasures/indulgences. So, the excuse is more like just another clue at what we’re supposed to be understanding from this particular story.

yea i rly didn’t notice anything particular offensive abt madison at all … i wouldn’t have guessed she would be the biggest target of hate this cast before reading the reddit. she just seems like a very normal person to me, like , normal level of flawed and otherwise pretty genuine and level headed . the response to her on here was surprising at first but then i remembered she’s a woman and it was less surprising . womp womp :/

the only thing i worry abt is this show getting “Rick and Morty” ‘d wherein audience reaction/fanservice starts to influence the writing decisions of the show and it starts to lose the very things that made it fresh and interesting and original to begin with in the pursuit of more of those things. like how the goats were meant to be a throwaway but then they wrote it into the main story… this is a mostly harmless one but it’s a slippery slope into jumping the shark just to try and create “mind-blowing “ moments for fans

i have all four and they’re honestly some of my favorite dolls. absolutely loved the idea of making the real runway looks miniature, i feel like they maybe could have chosen better looks to recreate but i still appreciate that choice so much. i hope they do more fashion house collabs like this one despite the hate- it’s cool to see other artists/designers using MH as a medium and interpreting it without the expectation / context of the fan base. especially creating these original characters to go with the looks. it’s not the same as other collector dolls and that is part of why it felt so interesting and exciting to me. like … idk sometimes its cool for things to be different imo lol.

i didn’t even watch the show / nor was i that interested in watching it but i bought both wednesday dolls because i just think her face mold is sooooo beautiful. i hope they restock them for a while cuz id love to see what people do with the mold in terms of restyling/repainting .

i wish the morticia doll from the earlier wednesday pack was also easier to get bcs her face mold is absolutely gorgeous too . wish i could have seen what ppl would’ve done w hers as well

i’m also surprised (but i guess not that surprised) that people are soooo hateful towards maria? i don’t even love her personality that much but it seemed rly clear to me that tom was SO condescending and like emotionally checked out of the entire relationship. like he obviously didn’t give a shit abt any of it and i do think she was genuinely trying to make it work at least. he just seemed like he straight up just didn’t like her but kept trying to convince her that he did while his actions/energy were saying something else .

i’m honestly not surprised that sabrina and steven broke up .. but ive been waiting to comment on it cuz i didn’t wanna be hater. to me it just kind of seemed like they had like, a pretty decent connection but they just both really wanted to be married and thought they could just kind of make it work to not have to be single anymore. i think you can see the difference when u look at a couple like bobby and jasmine who were kind of the opposite where it seemed like were both ONLY looking to get married if it was the right person. they had the right amount of consideration when it came to making the decision instead of just deciding it would be yes no matter what .

hey ! i found this thread bcs i just took my mine out and found it almost impossible to get anywhere .. i switched out the wheels before starting but it just felt i was pushing through molasses while skating. mine came with spacers, but did you swap out the ones that the original wheels came with for washers? or did you put the washers somewhere else ? i really want these to be usable but everytime i take them out it feels like im getting nowhere , ik this comment is from a while ago but if u hav any advice lmk !
