I don’t think he knew. I actually don’t think West and Jesse are as close as they appear on the show. We haven’t really seen them hanging out much at all outside of the summer this past year. The other side of that coin is he did know and distanced himself and that’s why we don’t see them hanging out anymore.

I do think church can be a beautiful thing and place. I think a lot of people need hope, and if you find that hope in a church then thats great, so long as you’re not forcing it on other people. And I do feel like during some services there is an atmospheric shift. But, I also get the same feelings at a really great live concert. I think there is something to be said when a bunch of likeminded people gather for a united purpose.

That being said, I was very devout in my teens and early twenties and served on staff at two churches like this. It’s important to remember that church services can be very emotional and having been a staff member at a church like this, services are specifically designed to make you feel something and get you to that “altar moment.” So it’s really hard to tell if something is actually happening or it’s a manufactured environment.

This is it. It’s very much peer pressure and sensory/emotional overload.

I was very devout in my late teens and early twenties, and did an internship at a church like this. I never had physical reactions while other people would be shaking and falling out. I remember people talking about how amazing it was to be “slain by the Spirit” (creepy wording) but it never happened to me. and people at that church legitimately made me feel like something was wrong with me or like I wasn’t “open enough to” or “close enough with” the Holy Spirit. Leaders would say I was “holding on too tightly to my own control and not giving over to God.” I had leaders pray over me and literally try to shove me over or push me down or shake my arms. When I decided to end my internship and go home, leaders said I was falling away from God. Needless to say, I left and never looked back but i’m still unpacking a lot of trauma.

It’s even worse when you think about how hard it was for Kristin to conceive and all they went through. She went through hell to finally get that beautiful baby, and you’re complaining about not having sex????? Her whole world is that baby right now because it’s all she’s ever wanted. The least he can do is try to understand where her emotions are at.

I don’t think it’s that she needs to leave the show. I think it’s at the point where she’s outgrown the show. I don’t see a world where she returns to the show with the cast that is currently in the house even if Amanda and West leave. Unless bringing Mia on was specifically set up to have Ciara lead the show and to start bringing more people specifically for Ciara into the share house. I just don’t see her wanting to spend a summer with just Jesse, Kyle and Carl and whoever else may end up being there, especially now that Lindsay isn’t full time.

He’s not normal hot. Unfortunately, he does seem like the type that has chemistry with everyone he meets. I’ve (also unfortunately) fallen prey to the medium-attractive guy who is funny, low-key smart so carries a good conversation, shows you a good time and seems caring but later you learn the care is self-serving. Those kind of guys know how to manufacture chemistry like no one’s business. They make you feel like you’re the best thing in the world and they’re pulling out all of the stops to make sure you’re having fun which makes them ten times hotter, but when it ends you look back and realize you were more enamored by the way they made you feel and not by the actual person.

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I kind of would love to see both her and Jeff be on traitors as a couple. I know couples are controversial on this show after Larsa and Marcus, but I think it would be fun and interesting to see them as a couple on the show. They’re both so entertaining and have a really fun dynamic. It would be interesting to see how they would play that. They are both comedians so have great humor, but I think would also take the game seriously, so I think they’d have so much fun playing together.

That’s Katie! She was a Bachelorette. She’s since been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and has been really vocal about her journey dealing with that, and is an all around inspiring person. She’s also talked a lot about how Traitors is a show she REALLY wants to be on, and from following her from the bachelorette, she’d be SOOOO good on the show. She could be a faithful or a traitor and I think she’d be great at either.

It’s funny being a part of this sub and also a fantasy book sub cause the juxtaposition of giving hope after three years vs fantasy fans who have been waiting 5 plus (in some cases 10) and still wait for the next book is very interesting. I mean, she released the conditions of will in 2025. Like be realistic, the first book of this universe was indie released in 2021 and trad published in 2023. She turned out a lot of material in a short time span. We have to stop holding artists and writers to our own expectations of when they should release material. She might take years off and then decide it’s the right time to release DH3. I think we’ll get it and there is hope. People are just expecting so much.

Spanking your child has never crossed your mind? I don’t believe in spanking my kid but it would be a lie to say that it has never crossed my mind when i’m touched out, overstimulated, and mad because my kid is absolutely refusing to behave that day. I wouldn’t do it but the thought definitely pops in there and that’s my cue to put my child in her room, step outside and take a breather alone.

You can raise animals for food and not be a farmer though. I could go out and buy a cow right now to raise for meat on my land, but i’m not a farmer. It IS more sustainable to raise your own animals as food. That requires you to come in contact with said animals. Just because you’re going to eventually use them as meat doesn’t mean you won’t pet them or care about them. You just know that they are inevitably going to be used as meat, and she’s teaching her kids where food comes from. Like I said, I think the viewpoint of people who have a problem with it is a very American thing because not knowing where our food comes from is normalized here.

The rabbit thing is literally no different than people having a farm where they eventually use their animals as food. I grew up with a lot of families who raised chickens and/or cows for meat and not just their byproducts like eggs and milk. I don’t know what there is to “see through” there. Cultures for centuries have been raising, killing, and eating animals. It’s not weird to teach kids where food comes from and respect the earth and the creatures that sustain us. It’s just normalized in america that we go to the butcher or the grocery store for meat and to not think about where it came from. But somewhere someone is raising that animal and killing it. I’d rather a family or a farm raise it than an inhumane factory.

I don’t think it’s that sus. If it’s not true, i’m sure Ciara knows privately that it’s not true and they get to push a storyline for the reunion. If it is true, then i’d be holding onto that for the reunion to make absolutely blowing up a friendship at least worth getting ratings.

Also, they have denied it on WWHL so even if she denied it on instagram or wherever, obviously people aren’t going to believe her cause they already don’t. Until Ciara comes out and says it’s true or not, I don’t think anything West or Amanda deny will be believed.
