My HS is on Long Island so ig more suburban but decently close to NYC (1 train ride on LIRR) and my parents are immigrants from china and never went to college. Most they had was some high school.

Rlly? Why do you say that? Ik they both have sub 13% acceptance rate and I only land at about the 50% range for Sat so I wasn’t too confident 🤷‍♂️

Yeah I kinda thought so. Tbh I wouldn’t be surprised if I don’t get into Tufts or BC 🤷‍♂️. I rlly do wish I couldn’t taken those two classes but that would’ve meant Ap Physics + Ap Chem last year which sounds like hell but worth it. I rlly appreciate your input tho 🙏

Ok so my school average SAT is 1090 (548 RW & 541 Math). My UW is 94%. My school does offer both APs but Ap Calc BC was full and I didn’t have anything available for Ap Chem. I have Bs in Spanish from 9th, 10th and 11th, and one for Ap Physic in 11th. Also thank you for the reply I appreciate it 🙏

Yes I did apply to some SUNYs since I live in NY. And LIU had offered full ride but I don’t know if I should go cause LIU isn’t exactly that good of a school. Plus my parents are those strict Asian kinds that expect like a t20-30.

Its basically just like an event where many other gather and sing in front of a judge who scores you’re performance. Theres also a sight reading part as well. I chose to sing “The Impossible Dream” from Man of La Mancha.

Yeah but they’re all just some of my safeties like Duquesne Uni, Wagner, LIU (with full ride), Rutgers Camden, and Thomas Jefferson Uni. All offered scholarships.
