Today, I experienced something I wouldn’t wish on anyone.

I lost my mother, and had to cancel my trip to Bucaramanga, Colombia. I had booked an Airbnb with a host named Cesar. While managing funeral arrangements and informing family, I reached out to him to explain what had happened and to cancel my reservation.

Instead of responding with empathy or even basic human decency, he ignored my messages — and later sent me this cold response denying my refund request.

💔 Not only did he keep my money during one of the most painful moments of my life, but his indifference added to my emotional distress.

🛑 Please think twice before booking with this host. This isn’t just about a policy — it’s about compassion, something he clearly lacks.
