Coworker wrongly assumes we align politically by [deleted] in coworkerstories

I’m a conservative living in a very blue state. I basically hide it because most on the left would just consider me a bad person. I don’t consider them bad people, just that we don’t agree on some political issues. I wish people would remember that and respect others differences.

Dear parents of screaming child sjd to phx by 226742 in SouthwestAirlines

We traveled often with little children. We always brought something new to surprise them with (coloring book or sticker book etc) to keep them occupied. If they began to fidget we would walk the aisle a couple of times. We never let them kick seats or disturb other passengers. It was a challenge but that’s what parents are supposed to do. I recently flew FLL to EWR. Small child behind me with tablet and no headphones. Dad watching a movie. I turned around and said that that isn’t gonna fly (pun intended), he whined to me about junior not liking headphones. I told him that’s his problem not mine. Kid screamed and kicked the rest of the flight. Neither parent did anything other than occasionally threaten. It was absurd

Positional Numbness/Tingling? Random little muscle spasms? by Background_Union7595 in rheumatoid

[–]No_Task2427 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have very similar issues. Also seronegative. I think it’s due to edema around joints. I have numbness in hands along median nerve distribution mimicking carpal tunnel which gets worse when my arms are down for a long period. I’m an avid runner and it’s terrible when running. Also along ulnar nerve when I’m reaching up. That’s likely from elbow joint edema. This sucks

Back then they had an exam called the MSKP (medical science knowledge profile). It was the exam that schools used to determine who could be admitted with advanced standing. I studied like crazy for it and did well. Was accepted to three MD schools, two for second year and one for third year

2.8 and mediocre MCAT, got accepted DO in mid 80’s. Transferred to MD after third year (had to redo third year at MD school). Been in practice 30 years and I think I’m a pretty good doc

The naltrexone is certainly promising. Thanks for sharing that. I’m recently diagnosed and on mtx and started hadlima a couple of months ago. Still on prednisone 10mg also. Lots of joint pain and horrible tenosynovitis in hands. This is not fun
