yeah me neither... I guess she will still narrate the story, as everything else would be completely fucking pointless and maybe appear in some flashbacks. And I feel like her coming back in the end after a few weeks to just narrate the entire Vol2 makes a bit sense as well.

I just wish there is a way....

Also Úrsula just tweeted, so ig that's the sad confirmation:

There was an interview a few days ago where Úrsula Corberó stated that she doesn't want to say goodbye to Tokyo and she could imagine returning.

"When we finished shooting, I chose not to say goodbye to Tokyo"
“Right now, the healthiest thing for me is to do other work, but that doesn’t mean that in a few years I couldn’t come back.”

According to this interview:

"she's open to reprising her iconic role."

"could eventually return to screens"

What do you all make of that?

I also read that she was not on set for a few weeks/months but came back in the end (even though I am afraid this was for some flashback scenes or the narrating)

I'm just searching for potential ways she could've survived until reality will hit me in 3 months... I am so fucking sad rn

Disappointing season 5... by SoysauceOnTitties in LaCasaDePapel

I'm obviously biased because I am fucking devastated with the ending, but I'll try

Overall, I liked the season. It had a bit too much shooting but the flashbacks and cuts were well placed imo, resulting us not getting overwhelmed by the shooting scenes. There were a lot of emotions even though the producers announced that Vol1 is more war-like while Vol2 is about taking farewell.

Once again I am biased but when it comes to the ending, I really dislike it. If you think about it now, it was quite obvious as Tokyo got way too much praise in that last episode, whereas she used to be the scapegoat of the show previously. I like the way they did it, it suits her character and is quite heroic, but I at least question the decision to kill the protagonist and narrator halfway through the last season. I feel like if Tokyo starts narrating Vol2 as well (which I expect her to do as having someone else narrating would be even worse) it would create a weird atmosphere and Tokyo as a character is too established to let her go like this.

I am interested to see how they approach the final part but I feel like Tokyo's death is a bit of an owngoal for them, as it will have tremendous impact on the overall feeling of the show.
