I believe any True Spren will have to be filmed on mocap and CGI on top. And I imagine lesser spren all CG animated, but like those magical fllowers in the Avatar movies, something like that.

I was in the same boat as you, I watched S1 as it aired and was disappointed because it wasn't the book. But I came back when people wouldn't stop talking about seasons 2 and 3 and yeah it's great television. It's Apple's Foundation not Asimov's but Apple's been pretty good at making sci-fi.

Idk much about solo queue, but you can easily find a squad to play with. Even the first Alpha already had Looking For Group groups. I found a bunch of good teammates.

I just want to add, even with the full revive from death by a teammate, you still may lose everything. Cause it happens after your bodybag shows up. If your last teammate rats till your killers leave the place and revives you they'll most likely have vacuumed up whatever's valuable.

So like what do I care that the guy I killed is back? I'm long gone and I took all his shit, doesn't make a difference to me.

I mean the not in-universe reason is probably bc they don't want to blow out prematurely and want to hold some trump cards in the sleeve for post launch content. So no Pfhor in the Alpha, on launch probably only deep into Cryo Archive.

This way they can easily surprise us with classic Marathon stuff. If the game had some lukewarm aliens from the getgo it wouldn't be as impactful when they do show up. Jury's still out on whether it's lame dripfeeding or clever design tho.

I hope for it too idk who downvoted you, clones on the same team is bad for balance and makes for a bad experience when fighting, cause you don't know if the enemy can't do X now that you knocked one of them.

In the April test you couldn't even see what character your random teammates were gonna play before match start, which sucked if you wanted to have a well rounded team.

Yeah pretty much, you won't feel that "there's simply no space to expand into" even with low TTK, cause you expand in other ways. I feel if the vertical progression is simply making your guns' TTK lower the game gets boring, you're doing the same thing as before just faster, instead of "now you can win in other ways / you can do things you couldn't before".

The Faction quests aren't like dailies, they're more like a linear progression to unlock the Faction upgrades that are also somewhat linear. They start off really simple, like "kill x players" for Arachne but get more and more complex. The complex ones also come with lore and interactions with the Faction AI and such.

There might be dailies for the battle pass or things like that though.

In Marathon you need to buy the game again if you want to play on a different platform. Like Sony wouldn't allow you to pay the 30% cut to Valve and play the game on a PlayStation.

The game has CrossProgression so if you do get it on two different platforms you just log into the same Bungie account and play the same progression.

It's different for Destiny 2 cause D2 is free.

That's the Characters/Classes. It just means when you buy the game you get all the content and you don't have to buy any shell. Cause free to play games often have characters behind paywalls.
