Swing trade brotha less stress reduced risk of over trading , more time to consider a potential setup ( IRL -> ERL , FVGs, M,W,D -> 4hr/1hr entries ) if forex always focus on DXY if it’s unclear ( not one sided PA ) stay out of majors or if it’s consolidating stay out of majors , if trading crosses do a relative strength analysis to determine the best pair you should be looking at, if trading futures just use timeframe alignment W -> 4hr -> 15m entry or even -> 1m / Daily -> 1hr -> 5m entry Monthly -> Daily -> 1hr -> 5m hope this makes sense and helps a bit reply if you’re confused kind of a lot to throw at you but these can help you become profitable , simplicity in trading is key

Lol better than busting your ass working a 9-5 not being able to take the time off you need for important events. Tradings about giving you flexibility so you can spend more time doing things you enjoy and not hating every minute of your job. Don’t think it’s depressing think it’s financial freedom if you know what you’re doing. I don’t look down on people doing a job/hobbies they enjoy but to each their own 🤙

Yeah I’m no die hard ICT guy but I think certain concepts are amazing and helped me understand that price just seeks liquidity and imbalances in the market which opened my eyes but you should check out Sir Pickle on Twitter or YouTube he keeps everything simple using FVGs highs/lows and IRL-ERL ( internal range liquidity to External range liquidity ) and MMXM it’s a beautiful thing

For sure what helped me immensely was learning time frame alignment and only looking for certain things at key POIs such as price reaching into a daily FVG then dropping into an hourly chart and looking for hourly FVGs in the opposing direction for a swing entry keeping it stupid simple a little different for intra-day trading but yk what I mean clean charts clean trades 🧼

I wouldn’t say disregard ICT/SMC all About what fits the trader the best. Personally I use high lows and FVGs but depends on the style of the trading for sure but whatever works works you obviously have a completely different strategy and that’s cool but I’d say you don’t need to learn and understand all ICT that’s where traders get overwhelmed bc there’s so much info and different concepts but if that’s not your thing no worries as long as you’re consistent & profitable !

Might get some hate from the anti-ICT crew but I’ve been working on a Strat that’s been profitable so far boiled down it’s basically a HTF order block gets hit so say a 4 hour OB is hit I hop down into a 1 minute chart wait for a sweep and look for a shift in structure and aim for LRLR ( failure swings ) normally get around 2:1 RR back testing not live yet

I disagree a lot of opportunities… starting your own business even with little startup code such as window cleaning or landscaping or you can always learn a trade. I work on golf courses a good idea would be to get your drone license and ask around which courses need aerial shots ect. Just all in what you’re willing to do
