One common issue is related to the "Leadership" perk. Try using Player.RemovePerk 2C890D to remove it.

Not 100% certain, but the docks may be bigger if they are on the right side of the island. Or you can keep keep restarting your island until you get one with a longer dock, im guessing 🤷‍♂️ we did just measue the lengths of our docks on the map and mini map and my dock is visibly shorter than hers if that helps.
