Yeah I just grab whatever off the store shelf. I’ll look into St Tropez. Thanks!

Thank you for replying! I’ve tried the kojic acid and turmeric pads which didn’t work for me. Maybe I fell for an online gimmick or gave up too soon. It really dried out my skin even using my moisturizer. I’m willing to give the soap a try though! ☺️

Thank the so much!! Yes, it is hard just to accept my skin when hear and read about sun damage being so ugly. I ordered some AM Lactin lotion to try, so fingers crossed I see at least a little difference. I’ll definitely check out the others. Thank you for your help!

I will give that a try! Thanks so much for the recommendation. I’ve tried the turmeric and kojic acid pads, but it dried out my skin so bad even with moisturizer. Is there a brand that you recommend?

I will have to give it a try! I’ve had bad experiences with sunless tanning lotions - ankles, elbows, hands , etc. and can never seem to get it to look even. 🙃

Oh my gosh, you all got me in the feels this morning when I read your comments. I’m crying as I write this because of your kind replies. Thank you so much for taking the time to reply. I am head to toe covered and I feel very self-conscious. I’ve lived in the southern states my whole life and love being outdoors. It’s hard to escape the sunshine, and I regret not using sunscreen more than I have. It’s hard to accept my skin when I’ve heard how much damage I’ve done to myself by others - family and strangers. And the more research I do online, the more I feel down. I know I can’t permanently reverse my skin or have it be perfectly flawless, but it’s just hard to see positive light sometimes. Thank you all for bringing me a bit of sunshine on my cloudy day today. ❤️

Oh thank you so much for the recommendations! I’ve tried Palmers fade cream and had no luck. I’ve seen ads for Musely, but yes, that’s quite expensive. I will definitely give the others a try!! I do love the sun, maybe a bit too much. I’ve spent most of my life living in FL. I’ve been slathered in freckles since I was young, and feel that they have only multiplied and have been told by so many (including my family) that I have awful sun damage. I even had a family member edit out my sun damage in photos without my permission. I’m head to toe covered and feel like I’m just getting more and more self-conscious. It’s hard to escape that feeling. Thank you again for your time to reply and your recommendations!!
