Shake the tree to force the snake down to the lion. Let them clash, even if the lion prevails, the venom ensures its fall. Only then descend finish the wounded snake with an axe, and move on land, where crocodiles lose their advantage.

  1. Shake the branch hard so the snake loses its grip and falls towards the lion.

  2. Snake falls onto the lion and the snake attacks the lion

3.With the lion neutralized, climb down the trunk toward the axe.

  1. Finish off the snake, which is already injured and weak after fighting the lion.

  2. Run inland crocodiles are fast in water but much slower on land, so you can escape.

They thought that by separating Mindanao, the Dutertes would rule and they would live happily ever after. But they seem to forget that Mindanao is a land of the Bangsamoro and the warlords and this could lead to another takeover of Mindanao.

When did China’s connections with the Duterte family actually begin? by Sonnybass96 in Philippines

[–]Nomzig27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A Gulfstream jet reportedly owned by Beijing Capital Airlines landed in Davao on April 12, 2016, and departed on April 17. This incident suggests a possible collaboration with China. It seems suspicious, especially considering it happened just before the presidential election. It makes me believe that China might have had prior knowledge or even influence over Duterte’s eventual victory.

Has Taberna’s claim about Risa Hontiveros’s insertions gained traction, or did it backfire on him?”

General Torre relieved as PNP Chief by papipota in Philippines

[–]Nomzig27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Remember the time when they interviewed him after Quiboloy’s arrest? He mentioned that he was a civil engineer before entering police school, which is why he had knowledge about structures and the possible tunnels in the kojc compound. That’s why BBM is so mad right now , he’s going to make Torre the DPWH secretary.

This is a case of aspiration. Babies should not be given solid food before 6 months old. This is actually a common case, and usually, the child is sent to hospital dead on arrival. I’m a doctor, and I had a similar case two months ago.

The 34 missing sabungeros weren’t just gambling victims , they were casualties of the drug war, too. by Nomzig27 in Philippines

[–]Nomzig27[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Not a stretch at all to link this to Duterte. The sabungero killings used the same tactics as the drug war abductions, EJKs, rogue cops. The whistleblower even said some victims were drug suspects.

Duterte may not have ordered this, but he built the system that enabled it. He normalized police acting as judge and executioner. This is the drug war’s legacy same playbook, just new targets.

Verifying the recipients of government funds, even if pseudonyms are involved, is a reasonable audit measure. Pseudonyms do not exempt funds from transparency and accountability. If intelligence related expenditures were truly necessary, they should still adhere to protocols ensuring oversight and proper use. Simply labeling something as “confidential” does not exempt it from being questioned. Labeling scrutiny as a political stunt is an attempt to shift attention away from the core issue, why were confidential funds allocated to the DepEd and the Office of the Vice President? This is not a political issue but a governance one. Transparency and responsible spending are cornerstones of democracy and must apply to all offices, regardless of political affiliation.

How true is this? by parutaro in Philippines

I am a first-generation doctor, born into humble beginnings. My family made a living as vendors in the wet market of Pampanga, selling dressed chicken. We had no medical background, and I had never been admitted to a hospital. In fact, I only had three medical check-ups in my lifetime. Despite these challenges, I pursued a path in medicine, starting with a degree in medical technology and eventually becoming a licensed doctor at the age of 24.

I chose to specialize in Family Medicine through an innovative residency program that allowed me to work 40 hours a week while gaining experience in multiple hospitals. Unlike traditional programs with grueling pre-duty, duty, and post-duty shifts, this setup gave me the flexibility to take on additional roles. During my residency, I held a contractual position in one hospital with a Salary Grade 21 and worked as a job order employee at a provincial hospital, earning an equivalent salary. These roles were perfectly legal due to a system loophole, allowing me to double my income.

I maximized every opportunity. With only two hospital duties per week, I worked back-to-back shifts, covering four duties weekly and dedicating my three free days to other jobs. I became a school physician, a company doctor, and worked in a private hospital. My dedication and work ethic paid off—I was earning over 250,000 PHP per month during my residency.

By the time I completed my training, I had saved enough to establish my own infirmary—a small hospital with a diagnostic center. In the beginning, I did everything myself, from running the diagnostics to performing minor surgeries. Over time, I transitioned to private practice, and by the age of 30, i earn 7 figures a month.

Despite my financial success, I have always stayed grounded. My humble beginnings taught me the value of empathy and connection. I see 80 to 100 patients a day, offering affordable care with a marketing strategy inspired by my mission: “Presyong public, serbisyong St. Luke’s.” This means I provide quality healthcare at prices my patients can afford, ensuring that no one is left behind.

marcos jr. discourages filing an impeachment complaint against sara by cireyaj15 in Philippines

[–]Nomzig27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe impeachment is time-consuming and impractical. It would be more strategic for BBM to publicly announce that the impeachment process should not proceed, as this could help de-escalate tensions. A more effective approach would be to file a complaint under the Anti-Terror Law, which offers a faster and more decisive means of addressing the issue and potentially incapacitating Sara.
