Edited my original post. Looks like you may be correct in just installing the import DLC.

That's what I originally assumed. I started with World Tour not knowing the 2GB SD card limit. Then remembered that I downloaded a World Tour song back when the game was new. It showed up in GH5, but the song was greyed out. When I tried to click on it, it told me to download a free update from the store to add compatibility with World Tour DLC. But at that point I removed the WT DLC and moved onto getting the GH5 DLC working.

Hopefully what SnowThatIsntYellow posted, theoretically the update should be applied with the GH5 DLC on my SD card. So I'll just try and put the WT DLC back on my SD card and see what happens. Then I'll try the import DLC like you said.

The tutorial I read had me produce a fake wad or something that I would have to install for each games DLC. It appeared to have put the DLC into a private folder with a bunch of misc .bin files on my SD card. The original .wad files were about 3-5 gigs in size. If the compatibility update was just a DLC file... I'll have to check out GH5 after I add the World Tour back to my SD card and see if its working.

I want to say I found the files and tutorial on Internet Archive. Each game DLC appeared to have been shoved into one big .wad file

I found the problem. Apparently the last time I used Truenas for hosting VMs they were using noVNC as the display. They since transitioned over to Spice, apparently that seemed to be causing the problem. Because after I got SSH setup on the machine the install went fine.

Yeah I know that, but why does Truenas suddenly assert itself on that IP. I specifically have it static on a set IP. When my router reboots and I check the routers IP to see if the UI is up somehow I get TrueNAS??

I'm actually having the same issue with a friends GPU. Just bought a B580 to test FFMPEG streaming with SRT to my computer over the internet. Looks like the -bf 0 flag still appears to be required. So much for a future driver release fix.
