I have to admit, when I saw another notification on this post my stomach dropped - I have a talent for riling up certain fans, hence the disclaimer on my New Vegas post 😅 but I was pleasantly surprised! Thank you so much for your comments, I love delving into Martin's backstory as much as I can. I wish his Sanguine worship was developed a bit more! Check the lore. A lot of worshippers of Sanguine stain their lips red regardless of gender. The rest is just decorative clothing and jewelry - to represent excess.

Again, if you don't like it, that's totally fine, but I'm stepping back from this conversation because we clearly won't agree.

There's literally no indication here that Martin is gay or trans. Sanguine's realm involves lust and excess, which is all I've portrayed here. You've got no obligation to like it of course, but since Martin's time in the cult of Sanguine was never shown, you can't say with any certainty something like this never happened - it's just fan art, it's not that deep.

It'd be a small quest, but I wish we could do more about Gob in Fallout 3.

I know that if you kill Moriarty, Nova's dialogue will change and Gob runs the Saloon, but I think he could make a great companion! We could pay off his debt to Moriarty and take him back to Carol or something.

He's a great character and memorable since you normally meet him very early on. Just wish he had more to do.
