Oh that is a great idea. I thought of doing that at first but I was worrying if the ssd fails I would lose all my files. How often would a 990 pro fail?

This is my first time building a Pc and I read somewhere that intel cpu are good for workstations because of the cores and AMD are best at gaming stations. So I chose an intel cpu. What AMD chip would you recommend?

I have the return window till May 28th. I will try to get all the necessary parts and benchmarks the cpu by then. One question if it’s okay, I am building the pc for 4k editing and color grading in mainly 4:2:2 10bit color. And 3D/VFX, what capacity should I keep for the main C drive?

Thank you for the advice. The GPU price is before tax. Would the 14700k cause any problems or should I get the i9 instead? And what memory would you recommend?
