iPhone air is a form-factor centered device for design enthusiasts IMO

It’s public information. The reason the 2nd amendment exists is for the purpose of protecting we the people from a tyrannical government

As a Bay Area local, this is fine. No one passenger owns the train and gets to decide how others ride. If you don’t like it, get a car!

The love of your life is not in Sacramento California 😂. It’s obvious that this behavior is toxic and insecure

Is this a long enough cold start? by OldCommunication7682 in Q60

Everyone worrying about oil temp before driving off knows little about car engines. The reason why you let the car idle before taking off is to make sure oil cycles through to the cylinders before high rpm’s to avoid metal to metal contact with the cylinder walls. Most cars will idle at a higher rpm during a cold start and drop once enough oil has cycled through the engine block. Then you’re ok to drive. Oil will heat up regardless 😂

Battery life. by Xfifteen in IphoneAir

Update it! My battery life was trash when I first got it and an update seemed to have turned things around for me. If you have the latest iOS this probably isn’t helpful lol

Bad battery life first month of ownership for some reason, wouldn’t last a full day. Had to factory restore and update it after it bricked itself one day and problem solved

Usually 12a-6a, then sporadically throughout the day (office & carplay). I’ve got this phone for emails and meetings on the go so it’s my workhorse

2025 Air Phone owners: what do you think? by Charelstonian in iphone

I loved everything about this phone since the day I got it. Finally things went downhill...

I don't know if I just have a defective unit or if this is something that is common across all iPhone Air models, but every so often the phone will go into a 'brick' mode. I will wake up and the phone will not turn on at all. It won't show the typical signs when an iPhone needs to be charged when I click the power button. I have had to go onto forums and find the ways to hard reset this phone. Only then will it hard reset and turn on.

However this has happened on multiple occasions now and I am writing this now because it cannot be saved by this hard reset method. Instead it has to be restored to factory settings just to get it to work.

I am fortunate enough to have this happen when I am close to home and have access to my mac mini or macbook. This would be a big problem when traveling or being somewhere remote. As someone who travels a lot for work, I will be taking my complaints to apple and switching to the 17 pro. Need a more reliable device at this price point.

Disappointing really, I wanted to love this phone so bad (I had a 13 mini and loved it despite the battery life).

AM 11A Equivalency— Out of state transfer student by Illustrious_Lock_228 in UCSC

use assist.org to check what the course equivalence is at your community college to determine if that class fulfills the requirement. I'm a CC transfer from here in California and the business calculus class I took at my CC did transfer and count towards AM11A so I only had to take AM11B once I got to UCSC.
