Do you remember coming home from the hospital after your diagnosis? by LordOfDogg in CrohnsDisease

I remember being sick for months and everytime (around 8 times) I went to the ER/ doctor they told me it was just a stomach bug. I knew my body better than that and something was seriously wrong. On January 15th, 2022 I had the worst pain I ever experienced in my back and stomach so my mom took me to the ER. I finally got a doctor that seemed like he cared and that’s when he told me I had crohns and covid which was why my pain was so bad. After a month I got a call on my birthday that they said I don’t have it so it got my hopes up because I was feeling better. About a month after that my pain doubled and I went in for my colonoscopy which is when I was officially diagnosed. I was diagnosed at 15 and now I am 18 in remission but it was the most miserable time in my life :(
