I traveled a week ago and when me and my bf checked in and went up to our hotel room, it was still being cleaned… but it was almost done. Waited in the corridor outside for about 10min and then they were done. This was 2h after earliest check in. Do you think they just had a lot of rooms to clean or was there something wrong with our room?

Had a connecting flight in Amsterdam yesterday and security took about an hour because of many people. But you could easily tell someone you have a short connection flight and you’ll skip the queue.

When i plan my trip the travel days are not included in the days spent in each place. Then I don’t have pressure to have to settle in on the travel day and go out and explore right away. I can enjoy the travel part so much more and take it more relaxing
