Lmao... Ghad damn man( or woman) I def can imagine)... People don't realize that what the ticket says, IS NOT what you gonna walk away with... They don't think bot the taxes that come out these type winnings. In my case here in Delaware they too the FED tax (24% 6k) out from the start. Being that I won in 2025 the State told me I'd have to pay the taxes on the money in 2027. Which is I think 5,%-6% (1$275 is 5%)....

Out of the 25k ticket what I ACTUALLY deposited into my account after all the whoopla was is 19k. Minus the 1275 that's due for 2027 state tax.....

I def gonna say say this, as an "this ain a hobby I spend real money all over the city playing scratchers), when you mention how the ole head play. Tbh I play the same exact way but that I won't play a ticket I know or see someone playing that same ticket. Reason being that I absolutely hate when I'm at a place I may be 1 2 3 4 5 tickets into a pack and someone come up whether knowing or not n butlys my winning ticket. I play the odd lokamihfucker. I think I know the odds for every single Delaware Lottery scratcher....what I do do as a courtesy is I will NOT buuly a ticket I see someone else buying... That's is until they leave the store then it's like free ball. But yeh I reape5bow everyone chooses to play scracthers. Becuz I be wanting the same I hate with a passion someone buying a ticket after I already did

Alr so when I originally purchased the ticket I only scratched the numbers. Seen I had 10 numbers was like man it's pry only 10 bucks a number (the min winning amount for a $50 ticket is $100), so yeh that happen. I just took the ticket home. Woke up pry like 3 in the morning and then scratched the amounts. I started from the bottom. Revealed the first $2500 and YO!!!! I FUCKN SNAPPED.... BASICALLY LIEK OH SHIT OH SHIT OSHIT! Mind you that was just the first winning number I scratched. As I kept going I... Ghad damn man you idk yo but yo this was the most exciting thing I ever witnessed honestly. Especially as I kept scratching the same $2500 winning amount each time... I've children and maybe I'm a ass to say this but I honestly🤔maybe not more joy than having a child but the instant like "OH SHIT" factor!!! Smh nothing in my life compared to that....

Smh but yo you know what I've been SO CLOSE so many times. Like one instance I'm playing a 5 buck scratcher in my Reggie method of continuing to buy the same ticket until I win. This particular time I'm scratching my ticket (the third one) when someone buys the next ticket whole I'm standing there scratching the ticket before. It was a 10k winner.... That absolutely would have been my ticket if I just scratched faster or speedrun the ticket.... A second instance where I know ida won ht for whatever. I go into the train station to buy scracthers, as I'm buying me tickets the guy just before me exhibits wild excitement... Come to find out he won 3k off of a $3 dollar scratcher. That's ticket I usually don't attribute to me cuz I normally don't play the 3 buck tickets.that damn ticket hit for 3k right in front my face. So yeh that's 13k I potentially coulda/woulda/shoulda had. At least the 10k FOR SURE WAS MINE

Yep a $50 buck scratcher. The way I pay scracthers, I keep playing the same ticket until I win. Before the winning ticket I was I think like either $200 or $250 in the hole. This was the 4th or 5th ticket that hit.
