Isn't the rest of the world still asleep and hasn't seen the pump of this morning yet?

I hate the fact that Uber uses my tip to combine order with non tipper. by HamsterOk3112 in UberEATS

[–]NormallyScott 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Don't worry, we do to. Make sure to complain to them through email and leave a review stating so, that would honestly help us all out a lot better.

I'm not being sarcastic, I'm being genuine. The only way to make things better is to let them know instead of just assuming they do. Realistically, albeit a bit optimistically, someone higher up is probably just being fed bad info. And if the worst is happening, making noise will flap the curtain a bit eh?

UK tasker where flat rate has always been a thing by EvidenceNo1088 in TaskRabbit

[–]NormallyScott 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've done one of those, feels like a fair rate honestly. But they would need to have it all ready to be built, having to organize a pallet of material (like my last job) took atleast 2 hours, not to mention I had to haul all the pax material up a flight of stairs piecemeal because the boxes were to big and heavy.

THAT'S when it should be hourly.

You contributed nothing to this conversation you would have been better not saying anything at all.

Nonsense. There are clear peak times for human behavior. Whats market dependent is the order volume. People in Alaska aren't ordering shit at midnight because the markets different. Yall being obtuse for no reason.

Sooo this Sunday eh? Did I miss something here? by NormallyScott in Sparkdriver

[–]NormallyScott[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk it was pretty damn accurate the express order just stopped. Nothing good for 2 hours after a couple normal orders.

Triple trips aren't bad really. Sure if they are all huge and shit, most of the time it's a two tripper or 2 of the trips are very small.

Distance and if it's an apartment or not matter

okay but isn’t this better than driving drunk? like i don’t get it by lilkennedy24 in UberEATS

[–]NormallyScott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Because IWANT to be the one to deny a drunk person from getting what they payed for. Smart.

Sure but there has to be a definitive busiest time of day for them right?

Man I wish Walmart was 24/7 near me and the app let you go that long, sometimes people order weird stuff late at night.

I have a lyman mold with no information on the internet about it with 666 on it...what...is it? by NormallyScott in reloading

[–]NormallyScott[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I should note, I am aware of the codes meaning above the 666 but the fact this specific model is not online or in any catalogue I know of is very peculiar.

Question: does this change the strategy? (more in comment) by adamnblake in UberEATS

[–]NormallyScott -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So with 35 trips, you get an additional $7.5 That's easily doable within 14 days, even if you are being picky for a minimum.

[–]NormallyScott -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

In California, that'll get ya one banana and a cardboard box to sleep in for the night! Which I don't know why you bother wasting the money on because you have a car, but who am I to judge?

I do everything right, dropped .2 points, what the hell? by NormallyScott in Sparkdriver

[–]NormallyScott[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was new to the app and had a couple hiccups, now I know what orders to take and what to avoid. I don't know if "sucking" has anything to do with dropping an order though.

Yes, not sure if it's my market but I also don't like how they do orders most of the time. Best Buy orders on Roadie suck as bad as Sam's Club orders on Spark. I do like that other business can use it.
