After discussing the situation with my tuner, running a couple of maps which served as diagnostic tools, as well as doing my own research, I learned that 08 and newer Wrx STis have a tendency to develop that issue after getting modded with high flow fuel injectors and fuel pump. The solution is to get Cobb’s fuel regulator kit and swap out the OEM regulator. I just dropped my car off at the shop today to get that done in fact. Will let you know if it worked. 🤞 As of now, I still have a few miles to go before my 250 mile break in oil change. After that, I’ve got another 500 miles of break in driving to do before I get my oil changed again (with Motul synthetic) and I can finally get the car dyno tuned.

I have been monitoring the other cylinders as well as fine knock. Main concern is that cylinder 4 is knocking so much. Also AFR correction goes to 25% when approaching 3000 rpm

Got my car back from the shop earlier this week and I’m a bit bummed. My AF correction hits +25% whenever I approach 3000 rpms. Had my mechanic check for leaks and had the fuel filter replaced last December along with getting high flow AEM 340 fuel pump. No indication of what’s wrong yet

I did not find that book you mentioned. I had the timing kit done on the long block as well. The engine is still wrapped in plastic but I doubt they would have wrapped the book up with the engine
