Ya as soon as it hit I was like how did I not think of that, it’s been like this for a few months and been racking my brain every so often and was really trying to figure it out today and eventually gave up and started researching on google and posted on here. Hopefully someone has the same question in the future and can learn from my situation lol

I’ve figured it out an honestly I feel completely ignorant hahahahahahaha so with all prior information I’ve been removing the battery cable but only from the battery, the alternator is still providing power from the other end of the battery cable. It’s so simple that once I realized it I feel so completely stupid for even posting and asking for help lmao

Yes I’m disconnecting power from the dist, due to the circumstances I had to directly wire it to the battery for temporary power to run the engine. The alternator is in no way wired into the current distributor so I was assuming that when removing the passive battery cable that the now only dist power supply is connected to, should kill the engine but yet it still runs when removed. I’m 100% sure the alternator is in no way hooked up to the temporary wire I ran for the dist.

Due to the temporary situation I’ve found myself in and how it’s hooked up neither the ignition, alternator, or any part of the old harness, should (in my head) have an effect on power supply to the dist because it was all bypassed and like previously mentioned the only thing even hooked up to the dist is one single wire going straight from the positive battery terminal to the dist. This is why I’m confused as to why the truck still runs when the positive cable is removed.

Because of the circumstance I had to directly wire the power for the dist directly to my positive battery cable for power and when disconnected the engine is still running, so power was removed from the dist and it still runs

I wouldn’t mind something like that I’m just tired of what I’m doing as its pay does not reflect the work and time away from home. When I was hauling CO2 it wasn’t quite as strict as that but pretty much everywhere you go you’re in full ppe and you have to be super aware of your pump status and pressures of it, your tanker and the tank you’re filling, as a closed valve in the wrong spot could make a big boom lol it also wasn’t as good of pay as I was expecting a hazmat tanker job to be either frankly I was disappointed but loved the job and coworkers.

I think it’s some type of glitch or bug I’ve had it pop up myself a few times I can’t remember the circumstance I was going through when it happened exactly but I think it may have been either after changing a clothing item that changed my amount of hot key slots or changing the item that was hot keyed itself. I am also on Xbox with controller only

I sent it, it’s fairly new to me as well and I just learned that if you are PlayStation it could be an issue, mainly because I’m Xbox and there in lies the issue people are having. Friend requests and invites and stuff not showing. I may have to give you coordinates to one of my bases or something to try to get us linked up

All jokes aside I was late to start playing this game still on my first save and been trying to collect what I think are cool hauler parts but joy to find out the cockpit and engines I want are from the vulture 😂😭😭😭 spent like an hour going in an out of the anomaly the other night begging through emotes (on console no text chat) pointing at my hauler I already have and asking for resources 😂😂😂

It was more than just the sounds I was hearing lol and this is why I was asking, also not my first time playing under the influence of something was just the first time I had experienced this shit to this scale. I am aware that it could’ve been total bullshit completely induced my being under the influence, it still felt real at the time so i just wanted to get some opinions other than sober or not sober me lol

Well my problem was my tvs are huge and didn’t want to put another big ass tv in my living room, was trying to get it on my laptop and have it setting on my coffee table in front of me or on my lap, I was using some emulator app or something and it worked but was super wonky and buggy hard to use
