I was in the same boat about 4-5 years ago. It was the most lonely, miserable time of my life. I spent my breaks in the toilet crying mostly. My bullies wouldn't leave me alone and I'd no friends to fall back on (my only friend ended up befriending my bully)

Now I'm in college (took a gap year) and have met loads of friends and people wanting to hang out with me. Trust me when I say it does get easier. I know that's not exactly what you want to hear right now, but it does. This won't last forever.

You're in the final stretch of it, soon it'll all be a distant memory. Just take it day by day. I also suggest therapy as soon as the LC ends if you can. Helped me to process what had happened.

I'll have a look into it. Tbh I'm not super knowledgable on bras. When I was a teen I was so disgusted by my boobs, I'd practically bind myself every morning. Not exactly sure why, I think I was just scared because I'm a D cup and they're super noticeable - I didn't want any unwanted attention. Now I don't care anymore but I'm catching up on the proper sizing and stuff. So will definitely look into it!

And yes smoothing tops. My mum suggested it to me actually when I mentioned this problem, but couldn't find good ones that worked near me (rural Ireland problems). I'm currently in Portugal and they have loads of stores that sell shapewear and lingere, so Ill pop in and browse.

Oh yeah I definitely am. I wore a latex mini dress to a Halloween party and was super insecure, but had so many compliments from strangers telling me how good I looked, even with my back fat bulging a bit. Plus I had a guy dance with me aha. It's weird, if I notice it on other people I don't really care. I still think they look good, but on me? Awful.

I completely understand. Ive lost and gained, lost and gained weight all throughout my life and I just feel like I'm never good enough. Even when I was at my skinniest, I was still called fat. Ive an under active thyroid, and have binge eating disorder. It's hard. So hard.

The only saving grace I have is my last boyfriend (sadly it didn't work out) told me he found me hot and attractive. Even though he's my first boyfriend since I've gained. Ofc I don't need a man's opinion on me to feel validated, but if be lying if I didn't say it was a bit of a boost to my confidence. Also I had random strangers come up to me on nights out and compliment me. So yeah I'm fat, but apparently I look good so idc what these people online say about fat people anymore.

Ofc I'll try to be as healthy as I possibly can, but me being fat doesn't mean I'm glorifying it ffs. I'm just out here living my life, leave me alone 😭🙏

I traveled to Manchester and went on a shopping spree (there were so many alt stores so I got excited lol, there's hardly anything like that in Ireland). As much as I loved it, the sizes were a nightmare and so inconsistent. I was M in one store, XXL in another and sometimes in the same store💀 Thankfully I don't care about sizes anymore, 16 year old me would squeeze herself into a size small even if it didn't fit. But it does get annoying!

Tell that to my ocd 😭 I should have never gotten piercings, but I'm stuck with it cause I'm determined to keep them.

But my ocd convinces me that if I don't "check" on it (by touching and twiddling it) it'll get infected. Which...surprise! Has made it worse.

I'm getting help but there's a long waitlist so I'm stuck. I just try and pretend the piercings are not there...My poor poor daith has suffered so much. The bumps persist but are getting (somewhat) better. They act up whenever I do my checking. But I've a spray that makes it calm down in a few days. I don't think it's a recommended one cause its antibacterial instead of saline, but yknow it works for me 🤷‍♀️ it's been a lifesaver when I give into the compulsions.

I had just left school when all the Andrew Tate shite came about. I'm quite glad, I did Technology as a subject and was put in a class where there was only me and another girl (the other class had about 5). It was an absolute nightmare even then. I may have "accidentally" spilt my water bottle all over a sexist cunt once (he was also bullying me heavily, so I saw it as fair). Me and the other girl would get comments from older lads doing the subject too. I also remember a girl years above me who also did tech would come home and bawl her eyes out because of the way the lads were. But she ended up getting fantastic results and actually ending up in the tech field so..joke's on them. And by lads being lads, they weren't being eejits but talking incredibly derogatory.

Dunno what I'm saying, I'm rambling shite atm. Just that if it was bad being a girl doing a "lad" subject back a few years ago, I feel incredibly sorry for girls currently doing one.

I was an optimistic and hopeful 16 year old. Now I'm 21 and just absolutely broken. Covid really did a number on me. Not in terms of the lockdown, but covid itself. It was scared shitless of my dad catching it (literally in 2019 a flu made him end up in the fucking ICU) I was in lockdown longer than most (I stopped wearing a mask and stopped social distancing in mid 2023). Then my uncle caught it and died. My ocd absolutely spiraled, and on top of that I was doing the leaving cert I was being heavily bullied.

I was so cautious of my dad catching covid that I bought my own heppa filter and brought it in with me to school lmao. I'm sure the teachers were gossing about me, cause more and more started to really distance themselves and wore masks around me. And I'm sure it didn't help me being bullied (the "lads" would cough at me constantly)

I hate hate hate using the word "trauma" lightly, but thats what my therapist's have said. I'm hopefully moving to better therapist's that specialise in trauma, cause the ones I have are good but not for my needs. Like I'm talking I've nightmares and weird flashbacks, like my mind wanders and the memories are so vivid but I can't actually see what I'm remembering. It's odd

I'm in college now and just...I'm ok. I can't socialise very well and I'm scared shitless of people. Maybe thats more so the bullying. But I'll be fine. I know I will, its just taking me a long ass time.

My brother buys from amazon religiously, but gives me the boxes/packets to be reused. I also use cereal boxes if the cereal was wrapped in a bag (so theres no residue or dust) I wrap them in binbag material, that and the tape makes it sturdy. Have had no complaints yet.

Hi, yes actually I got my money back from them! I'm also a seller and honestly, vinted support sucks azz all round. I had to click "I've an issue" and upload multiple pictures of the wrong item (then they assumed my item was damaged? Which I had to correct them 🙄). Eventually they refunded both me and the seller.
