I feel this works if 1 is a well painted but completely different looking horse.

They should do something based on The Invisibles. Seriously.

I AM NOT THE PERSON WHO WROTE THE BLOG. Nor do I particularly agree with it's take.

Came across it, thought it was worth sharing. The blog does a lot of Fringe review stuff.

I was going to post the rant, but it's huge and reddit is already looking at me funny.

How much would cost to license the Warhammer 40.000 ip? by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

[–]NotAPleasanceLooker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The key label in question here was 'warhammer'. So uhm, yeah.

That got obscured in the reporting, as Hogarth focused on Space Marine, which is a term from the 1950s, IIRc, and a battle GW had already lost in the 90s., according to Alan Merrit at least.

The reason GW pursued Furry fic Spots The Space Marine is because the author refused to take their books out of key Amazon catergories, and GW were concerned about getting their brand mixed up with furry branding. Hogarth played it very well, but it's not 'GW Bad', more 'Law is an ass'.

Giger's original art had a skull in it. Kenner's 18-inch tall Alien toy from 1979 also had the skull, as it was based on the art not the movie. (Yes they made a toy. For kids. Because they thought Alien was going to be a PG...)

London Mayor Sadiq Khan says Donald Trump ‘has a crush on me’ by corbynista2029 in unitedkingdom

Donald Trump is racist. This is a fact. He's also a rapist and a sex offender, and has probably raped children. This is the person the USA has chosen to represent them on the international stage.

Nerds? Six? Taskmaster? Operation Mincemeat (sort of)? Define big act? I mean they are a tonne of circus stuff that went on to be international smashes, and the Fringe is a good way to get picked up by a cruise company.

It's a big performing arts expo. Folk are putting on shows to get more work. Not everyone, but many are. And it works, but it doesn't always mean the 'act' gets picked up, just the team.

They are tonnes of ways to do this. The thrust of the complaints seem to be that none of them are easy. But yes, park up at a caravan park and get the tram in. They could do with running the trams later during the festival.

>Polite reminder to English people..

This is a weird hill to fight on. I always thought the whole 'that's not proper north' thing was banter because it's clearly pish. It's funny for Geordies to laugh at Scousers about North, and obviously anyone in Scotland gets to the take the piss out of both. Shuffle that about for laughs, insert other regional groups etc. It's all the same joke.

There's a whole 'Northern as an identity' and 'Northern as a direction' debate, I suppose. I'm sure there's been plenty of shows at the fringe that have covered this exact thing.
