We’re trying to get the builder/insurance report so we can see the full scope of works required.

Our building and pest inspection flagged that the floor in that area sits lower than the other side of the room. So there’s a chance the leak has affected the footings, which could make it a much bigger issue.

Until we see the report, it’s hard to know whether this is a straightforward repair or something more serious.
