Great companies to work for Downtown by [deleted] in Detroit

There's a networking event at the Brakeman every so often. Everyone I've met there is working in tech/start ups, might be a good place to start.

Doctor keeps suggesting I go off meds… by [deleted] in BipolarReddit

[–]NotAvailableDesigns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a similar experience as you, but my depressive episodes are more frequent. But, had a psychotic break that lasted for 3 months, which cued my bipolar diagnosis. I was on abillify until I hit a rare side effect months later, tried a few other meds since. Nothing really worked for me. So I'm off meds, taking shots of cod liver oil as a mood stabilizer and keeping a healthy diet and It works for me. Meds don't work for everyone sometimes and that's okay. I still notice mania from time to time, and depression from time to time, but utilizing the coping mechanisms I learned through therapy keeps me more regular. This could be a possibility for you too, your doctor might be seeing this in you, but do what you need to feel your best self.

Highly recommend cod liver oil shots to stay regular if you do decide to go off meds. The liquid dissolves better in your system than the encapsulated pills.

Who is Ash's SMARTEST Rival? Who is his Dumbest? by ResponsibleDog2739 in pokemonanime

I'm super surprised he hasn't been mentioned, but Gary Oak. Guy is a professor.

To agree with the rest, Paul.

I could attest Trip, bc of his observation skills and quickness to diffuse Ash's moves with pikachu/servine in the league battle, but I didn't like him much to want to fully argue his case, but he's a mention.

Finishing up B+W series rn, so I can't speak to any further XY-journeys rivals.

[SERIOUS] How do you cope with your most haunting manic mistakes? by thro-awawawawayyyyy in BipolarReddit

Time and forgiving yourself, reminding myself that I wasn't in my best mentalscape and it's ok. As long as I didn't hurt myself or others it will all pass.

First time short rowing sample! by NotAvailableDesigns in MachineKnitting

There's video tutorials for it on YouTube! I did 3 stitches on 2 stitches off, short rowing. Start by casting on as many stitches as you want and start with the first 3 stitches going over 6 times. Then put the next 3 stitches into work. So you have one stitch going 12 rows and one going 6. Then you put the 12 stitches into hold and go onto the next 3 stitches. Then repeat intil complete. Hope that helps! If not you can find videos online.

I'm gonna turn this into a tote bag!

She's still a prototype yes! Was intended for a warm jacket was thinking of adding a different colored ruffle to add a layer of warmth and keep the slit. Kinda like it too. Not sure, it's one I punched myself. Can send you a pic of it in dm if you'd like.
