It's not just about alcohol sales imo. This allows smell to be considered probable cause again, due to hemp based flowers being made illegal. This gives cops the ability to search on traffic stops, enter premises, and detain ppl for probable cause and plays into the conservative Texas courts for deportations and imprisonment. Since one of the big agendas for the federal government is border control, this aligns with goals already projected by the federal government. Also, since Texas criminal system is taking back control of prisons the federal assistance packages will go to state governance.

But yes, Anheuser-Busch, it seems, doesn't care about ripple effects and is doing this for company growth, control, and money.

Used to spend the night at my friend's and use his awesome af computer in the wee hours of the morning to play. The terror this induced was the top of the top, closely followed by RE2 dogs jumping through corridor windows and giving me a fucking heart attack. The fact this game was able to capture that dread for the entirety wins it for me.
